To ask you what songs you hate?

Lyrically, musically or any other reason.

I can't stand Spandau Ballet's "True" - there I've said it. I'm out and proud.

"Why do I find it so hard to write the next line?" - perhaps because it's a fucking shite song Tony and it makes no sense at all!

I think the world would be a better place if we never had to hear Sussudio again.

It just gives me images of blokes wearing suits with the sleeves rolled up and wearing shoes without socks.

Jonah Lewie - what is the actual point? I think Stop the Cavalry is the most depressing Christmas song ever. Who wants to sing along to a song about World War 2 and the relentless march of Nazis over Europe?

Yeah who the fuck doesn't like ABBA?! I'm sure there was a statistic once that to sell the amount of albums ABBA had, everybody in Europe owned at least one

I agree. If you don't like ABBA, you don't like pop music.

Dancing Queen is IMO one of the weaker of their big hits, but there's so much more in their repatoire than that. I would put 'the Day before you came' in my list of top ten favourite songs.

The stat about ABBA's record sales sounds like the urban myth that there was an EMI record plant in Germany devoted to doing nothing but making Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

I can't stand 'angel' by Eurythmics. I know it's a classic, I know Annie Lennox has the most amazing voice but I hate it.

I really love ABBA. Those guys could sing and craft songs. Dancing Queen is nowhere near their best though - the one I like best is When All Is Said And Done - best breakup song ever written IMO.

Funnily enough I agree with almost everyone else about their bad songs.

Recently added to the list Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars I loved it then suddenly disliked it with a passion there was no gradual change it was love to hate in an instant

That Don't Impress Me Much - Shania Twain. Every time I hear that, it gives me the rage. Pop radio stations were enthralled by the novelty of playing, you know, like, a proper Country artist, that they couldn't get over it....Angry
