I really don't get it! My Facebook feed is full of people moaning about being in an online queue or declaring they've been lucky enough to get on the site.
It's only soap?! Whatever they've done to create this hype is admirable!
Have I missed something? Do they turn you into insert name of drop dead gorgeous celeb if you bathe in their products?
IIRC the bath bombs are only about £4 anyway?!?!!

Anyone a member of Mrs Gloss on Facebook? Fantastic and huge beauty group and the admins are managing to delete all the Lush threads of which there's been about fifty apparently

There was a 60' 4 abreast queue for Lush in the metrocentre, this morning! Nuts!

Were they doing the lucky bags, this year, or something?

If you see a queue though people sometimes think it is better than it is, a bit like the Next sale which is shit when you get there, it is all hype

Was it a marketing campaign? Was there ever a sale?

Mrs Gloss do delete/lock threads when multiple threads get started on the same subject on the same day, otherwise it gets very messy, especially now it's such a big group.

Just went on to their website now to see what the fuss is about and there are 128,412 people in front of me. Who knew bath bombs were so popular

Half the queue is probably people curious about were they'd be placed!

I hate that they've not updated the message on the website yet, just letting people continue to queue for the 'sale', hoping they'll buy something full price anyway whilst they're there.

I went off Lush when they joined in with the kind of 'sexualize/dehumanize a woman to highlight animal cruelty' stunts that Peta also enjoys.

(Plus their bath products started to make my bits itch...)

The sale ended for some just as they went to pay. Everything was in the basket and then it all went up to full price.

I still have more than an hour wait for a sale that's already finished...

people pissed off on Twitter because they had said the sale would end when everything sold out yet people who got through as the sale ended still able to buy sale stock but at full price.

My friend managed to get through and then got kicked off as she checked out earlier.

Out of curiosity I went to look (would buy some snow fairy if any good prices!). I was 99,000 and something in the queue, taken over 3 or so hours and once in doesn't appear to be anything on sale!!! Ridiculous!

yes no update on waiting website to say sale over..I don't tend to follow twitter for shops...However as I was only curious nothing lost for me.

Yes I only joined the queue after reading this thread so not lost out on anything, but think its very bad planning for there to still be a queue of apparently over an hour for a sale that is already finished. With no notice that it has finished.

It's ended. Didn't even get a look in.
