I really don't get it! My Facebook feed is full of people moaning about being in an online queue or declaring they've been lucky enough to get on the site.
It's only soap?! Whatever they've done to create this hype is admirable!
Have I missed something? Do they turn you into insert name of drop dead gorgeous celeb if you bathe in their products?
IIRC the bath bombs are only about £4 anyway?!?!!

I have a Lush bath several times a week. I've never had thrush.

I don't think I have ever actually been in Lush but am itching to go on the website. (no pun intended)

I've been queuing since 98000, now am at 18000. I just want some bloody shower gel

125101 with an hour to wait. just tried it too see, not bothering to get anything as the smells makes my sinuses hurt like bugger.

There was snow fairy left an hour ago when I ordered. DD's love lush and I begrudge paying full price.

I've just gone to look and it's put me at 120941.

I don't even like Lush stuff.

I used to love a lush bath bomb. Until I had a glitter one and ended up with a horrible sore belly button 😳
Canesten cream eventually sorted it out.

Some of those bath bombs are also terrors at staining the bath. I realised (even before the belly button episode) that a bath is not relaxing, if you then have to spend 30 minutes cleaning it.

Why is there an online queue? Other retailers don't do this?

Maybe they have a limit on how much stuff you can buy so you get a timed slot?

Lush is a great shop, with the added bonus of helping the Sabs protect foxes from braying red-coats :)

I've always liked lush but it's got pretty pricey- nearly ten quid for gift box with 2 bath bombs! I remember maybe 12-13 years ago they did a bunty gift set for a tenner with 4 bath items. DP got me a nice gift box with 6 items: 2 bath bombs, a soap, a bubble bath bar and 2 shower gels costing him £40!

They have a queue because their servers cannot handle the volume of hits the website gets so they limit it. It was the same last year. Check out Twitter, their responses to customers can be pretty shitty really. They really would do themselves a favour by teaming up with a larger emcommerce company to manage the sale but they apparently won't do that.

It definitely has got a lot dearer. I don't think it can be that the ingredients have increased significantly as other retailers haven't increased their prices by a similar amount.
