I really don't get it! My Facebook feed is full of people moaning about being in an online queue or declaring they've been lucky enough to get on the site.
It's only soap?! Whatever they've done to create this hype is admirable!
Have I missed something? Do they turn you into insert name of drop dead gorgeous celeb if you bathe in their products?
IIRC the bath bombs are only about £4 anyway?!?!!

I'm clearly technically incompetent. But yes, I also find it hard to believe that 77,000 people are browsing shower gel!

caroldecker · 26/12/2016 18:33

What happens if you get to the front and you're not at the computer?

neveradullmoment99 · 26/12/2016 18:35

What happens if you get to the front and you're not at the computer?

A very valid point.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/12/2016 18:37

Lush isnt that good Confused

A plague of glitter and bicarb shall rain down upon your house Grin

RortyCrankle · 26/12/2016 18:39

Bleurgh, walking past one of their stores is enough to make me feel ill. I'l be giving their sale a wide berth.

musicposy · 26/12/2016 18:39

caroldecker I'll tell you because that was me! I queued all day, went on at 5pm to be told the queue was paused and there was over an hour's wait. Went back at 17.35 to a message saying I had my place and did I want to proceed? I clicked yes and it said "sorry your place was 1703 and you only get 20 mins - queue again?"

Then it put me to over 100,000!

So you're meant to check every 5- 10 mins on Boxing Day to be certain of not missing it?

I feel like never buying anything from Lush again, frankly.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 26/12/2016 18:39

My mother is obsessed with Karma soap. Or anything that has cinnamon in it.

Please, Lush, don't ever stop making it!

She used to love something called Red Rooster but I can't find that anymore.

megletthesecond · 26/12/2016 18:40

It's their only sale. It clears out virtually all of the products with a made in 2016 label and means they can start afresh in the new year. Gets of any last Xmas stock too.

I used to work there but I can't be bothered to queue on boxing day for cheap Shangri La so suck it up and buy it full price.

BumWad · 26/12/2016 18:41

Massive queue outside Lush this morning. It was one in one out. Couldn't believe it. It's bloody soap Confused

dawnc27 · 26/12/2016 18:43

sorry vindaloo, thats my fav n been tolds its discontinued :(

rachyconks · 26/12/2016 18:43

The site kept messing me about so I went to the store about 2:30 and still had to queue to get in! Got everything I wanted though!!

FarAwayHills · 26/12/2016 18:45

Queues for a sale of bath bombs. Words fail me Shock

WildNightsWithAndyDay · 26/12/2016 18:45

Last time I was in there (years ago) they had two charity lip balm things - one raising money for cancer research, the other raising money for an anti animal testing charity which campaigns directly against cancer research. I was confused.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 26/12/2016 18:45

Dawn - Red Rooster discontinued? oh no!

Lush actively fund guerrilla protest groups. Plane Stupid and the Hunt Saboteurs Association have both broken the law numerous times in the belief that it is OK to cause harm if the intent is good. Lush have donated large sums of money to both organisations

This is the reason why I would never spend my hard earned money in there.

Christmassnake · 26/12/2016 18:51

They should sell their bath bombs with a free tube of caneston thrush cream,I'm sure it would be greatly received

Brewdolf · 26/12/2016 18:51

I queued at a store this morning Xmas Shock

I'm too cheap to buy at full price, but make an effort to go to the sale. I get two giant shower gels and they normally see me through the year.

We worked out DH spends more on his cheapy shower gel per year than I do that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

FuzzyCustard · 26/12/2016 18:51

I've not forgiven them for discontinuing Ginger perfume. I'm hoarding my last drop for a perfume emergency.

megletthesecond · 26/12/2016 18:52

The shower gels are usually £15 or so and the decent face creams are around £30. If it's still 50% off that's a decent saving if you fancy it.

dawnc27 · 26/12/2016 18:53

vindaloo no the karma soap

Peanutandphoenix · 26/12/2016 18:59

I think people to forget about the lush website and visit this one instead getagripyousadtwats.com it's only fucking soap and am sure you all got a shit ton of the stuff yesterday.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 26/12/2016 19:00

Really? I bought Karma soap online last month for mum's present.

Grrr. I just buy whatever shit has cinnamon in it now tbh.

ACatastrophicMisintepretation · 26/12/2016 19:04

Yeah I think so kitten... I can't get online obvs to check but sure I've bought it a few times in recent months, and I agree it, it's really lovely!
