Field is Dreams is a crap film, so is Withnail & I

I've pretended to like Field of Dreams for at least 10 years.. It's utter nonsense! Brought it up today with a mate.. Haha she hates Withnail & I but has always maintained she was a fan!!! If you understand where we're coming from. What film to you secretly hate that everyone else apparently loves ???

I agree with most of these but I'm not a huge film fan anyway. I was full of flu meds last night, lying in bed watching Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves had lost the remote What total shite! Alan Rickman and Morgan Freeman are great as ever but Costner... why didn't I realise how crap an actor he is?! He's the same in every single film of his I've seen

Monty python anything is just weird. I think people pretend to like it but dont. Another cult thing.
Saw about 10 minutes once of its a wonderful life and hated the shouting. I know they used to act like that back then, but it grated.

I had to feign interest in Dirty Dancing at school despite absolutely hating it.

I love pretty woman. But my friend made me feel terrible for even tolerating it, pointing out everything that's wrong with it as a woman!

(If anyone else likes it despite that, you can find the original "$3,000" script online - soooo much darker than the romcom they ended up making!)

I don't know why, Plastique other than it's a gentle feel-good film and it has James Earl in it too. I really like the premise of follow your dreams and that sort of shit... Blush

Actually, most of the films that posters on this thread despise, I really like - apart from Notting Hill, that's a quarter-of-my-attention sort of film.

I really liked Kevin Costner in JFK... also because it has the love of my life, Donald Sutherland in it. Grin

Shawshank Redemption is one of the best movies I have ever seen though, by far better than most other movies ever! I could watch 20 times and still love it!

Sim City Hmm DH loves it and I think it's a massive pile of shit.

Don't really like "The Shawshank Redemption" either, but possibly because DH loves it and it was on ITV all the time for a while I think.

I also don't get Minions. I don't think they're funny, or cute.
