I also have a theory that their mum is shagging around. This explains why when topsy got chickenpox, her mum's mobile was switched off and no one could reach her.

Topsy and Tim's dad is shagging the neighbour, can't remember her name, and the mum knows but is grateful for the respite from his kinky sexual demands so doesn't care. Dad keeps her supplied with benzodiazepines and she swigs vodka from a tea cup to get through each grinding, tedious day with the pair of smug liitle fuckers.

Nunn, you are brilliant. Loathe Topsy and Mopsy. I'm guessing they stopped making them as the kids got too old. As it was they looked about 6 when they were playing 4 yr olds.

They recorded about 3 or 4 series all together so the children stayed the same size (I was at a recording at the BBC and was told). As it was, "Topsy" lost a tooth and had to wear a false one to cover her gap, plus she wears a fringe wig.

To answer a Q up thread, all the adults have to wear dull colours so the focus is more on the children.

Tim has all his adult teeth, he must be about 9, playing a 5 year old. If they'd made another series his voice would be breaking but he'd be playing a 6 year old.
