Ok, sorry in advance for posting yet another election thread in AIBU so please hide post if necessary Blush but, after everything thats happened is anyone else really surprised that she didnt at least thank her supporters at the rally? There's been nothing from her at all! Confused

Its just bizarre.

Time to lock this lying, cheating woman up. People conveniently forget about the WhiteWater scandal, Benghazi and that little issue with emails...

Missswatch · 09/11/2016 18:19

She's just a good loser. Awful politician though

ChangingNamesAgain · 09/11/2016 18:21

That she lost to Trump suggests america is still very sexist

That several here are blaming her for Trump winning shows so is mn

Wookiecookies · 09/11/2016 18:23

Agreed nobarbara and if I have a stress headache here in the UK, I cant imagine how you must be feeling right now!

"Time to lock this lying, cheating woman up. People conveniently forget about the WhiteWater scandal, Benghazi and that little issue with emails..."

Nobody forgot the emails. The FBI has now stated twice there was no criminal conduct.

Missswatch · 09/11/2016 18:40

Nothing to do with sexism. Many voters were white women

ChangingNamesAgain · 09/11/2016 18:45

Lots of women can be very prejuice against women

Lilaclily · 09/11/2016 18:49

I felt so sorry for his son, thrust into the limelight, he looks so uncomfortable

ChangingNamesAgain · 09/11/2016 18:54

I feel so sorry for his daughters, the one he said he would like to fuck if she wasn't his daughter & the one he said had great tits and ass

Chippednailvarnishing · 09/11/2016 18:59

Trump may soon regret winning.

He'll have to actually implement some of the ramblings he's passed off as policies.

Bertucci · 09/11/2016 19:11

Typical Trump voter.

Sadly, this isn't a comedy sketch

JulesJules · 09/11/2016 19:18

Nothing wrong with the OP, some of the comments unnecessarily nasty imo.

If Trump had lost he would have been blustering about the result being a fix.

GinAndTunic · 09/11/2016 19:55

But at this point in time, she was the most experienced person ever to run for the presidency.

Wrong. So very very uninformed.

winterisnigh · 09/11/2016 20:03

HC speech was worth waiting for IMO.
It was wonderful really and sent out a clear message.
I too hope she stays in politics.
Obama's speech was also wonderful.

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 09/11/2016 20:10

It was a great speech

I guess she really had to work out what she wanted to say and get across and took her time its wasn't emotionally charged it was honest and positive with a slight dig to Trump

onedayimightforget · 09/11/2016 20:48

I absolutely agree that if she had gone out last night and shown emotion she would have been seen as weak and a lot of people would have been saying it proved that she wasn't up to the job. If a man did the same it would be seen as passion. Instead, she chose to take the time to compose herself and the end result of her speech proves (to me at least) that that was the right decision. If she had come out as the "weak, emotional woman" they want to prove she is, they would be going on about how a woman isn't up to the job and a lot of us would be even more pissed off than we already are. Instead, I think her speech proves that a woman is definitely up to the job, even if it isn't her she hasn't paved the way.

Realjournal123 · 10/11/2016 17:38

......just showing her true colours. She couldn't give a S..t now that's she's lost.

StatisticallyChallenged · 10/11/2016 17:56

Assuming she was feeling emotional on the night - understandably - then I think she was right to wait to speak. In an ideal world she would have spoken at the time but if the choice was between speaking straight away (or struggling to speak) very emotionally and badly, or speaking later but well then I think the latter is preferable.

I think what the first woman to be candidate for president said is more likely to be remembered - especially now that we live in the world of Youtube - than when she said it.

NorksAkimbo72 · 10/11/2016 18:47

I was a supporter, and "she" sent a lovely email thanking us for our support.

YonicProbe · 10/11/2016 18:50

Totally agree StatC

MsJamieFraser · 10/11/2016 18:52

Tbf, if I had worked so hard to do something I put everything into and lost to that idiot, I'd be truly devestated and betrayed by my country! I don't blame the poor woman for taking her time to get her head around recent events.

Wookiecookies · 10/11/2016 19:31

Thats good Nork, were you there on the night?

OP posts:
ajandjjmum · 10/11/2016 20:18

So she actually got more votes than Trump.

I thought she spoke well and from the heart.

NorksAkimbo72 · 10/11/2016 21:45

Unfortunately, no, I'm an American in the UK, but I did some volunteering (calling people up to encourage them to vote), so I think the email was attached to my tiny contribution too the cause.

Crunchymum · 10/11/2016 22:15

Can someone clarify the 'she got more votes' issue for me.

I am assuming that more people voted for her in the states that were worth less points but I don't fully get it?
