AIBU to wonder where Hillary is?

Ok, sorry in advance for posting yet another election thread in AIBU so please hide post if necessary Blush but, after everything thats happened is anyone else really surprised that she didnt at least thank her supporters at the rally? There's been nothing from her at all! Confused

Its just bizarre.

I've no sympathy for Hillary, because of her we've ended up with Trump. So arrogant and power hungry (as is Trump), If she hadn't stood, he probably wouldn't have won. She'd have probably had us at war more or less immediately, with Trump we might have a bit more time.

How can she congratulate him, knowing what he is and what this means for the country?

because she is a politicianl and is professional . Politics isn't all positive and politicians have to work with people and policies that they strongly disagree will and may even despise. I wouldn't have expected her to do anything less

maybe she's still figuring out how to concede without saying congratulations but also without looking like a ore loser.

Did anyone else think Bill Clinton has looked very frail lately? I've always thought of him as a big guy who seemed pretty fit, but he looks as though he's lost several stone in weight very quickly.

Also when he's been traipsing around after Hillary, he seems more like a teenager you're taking shopping for school clothes rather than an ex president.

BC has lost a lot of weight and as happens when losing weight when older, it has really aged him

I am not comparing the campaign or candidates spring, thats been done to death, I merely feel she should have had the good grace and strength of character to thank those supporters who took her to heart and turned out in their droves to be there with her, whatever the end result. Trump is a c*%t, but that doesnt excuse Hillary not acknowledging those who were there waiting for her.

She is going to speak soon. And I have a handful of friends in the USA who worked hard to get Clinton in and they too are shattered and despondent.

I love it. More than half the American population voted in a vile, abusive misogynist and it's her fault. People really are fucked up. I don't blame her one little bit for hiding out to lick her wounds for a bit. If I was her I'd be dismayed not only at losing, but at the revolting specimen I lost to and what it says about my country.

We thought Bill looked unwell in recent footage too.

But the reason why she should have adhered to tradition and make the speech last night is because she has spent months trying to convince the population of her presidential qualities. And she chose not to show that by departing from recent tradition.

And she really should have thanked her supporters in person.

I think that scuppers any chance of trying a third time, not that I expect she'd particularly want to.
