No chocolate allowed but I will allow cream ones Grin.
I'm off chocolate and want a nice biscuit to have with my cup of tea.

Bourbons

Cow biscuits for dunking

Speculoos for eating with ice cream

Florathefern · 11/10/2016 18:37

Hobnobs

Mumontherun - Rich Tea is barely even a biscuit Grin

Mine is a good old fashioned plain digestive. I'd obvs prefer a dark chocolate one, but if we're talking plain biscuits, then a plain digestive would do.

eckythumpenallthat · 11/10/2016 18:45

Anzac biscuits
Oatmeal raisin cookie
Butter shortbread

OdeToAutumn · 11/10/2016 18:56

I'm amazed that out of all these glorious choices rich tea was the chosen one !!
Charmingly... I do that with tim tams too, except as soon as i taste tea I flip and eat from the corner that was dipped to prevent any collapsing in tea. It's a dangerous game though, because of the shoving in mouth in one go you end up eating several !! Have you tried the peanut butter ones ??

AButterflyLightsBesideUs · 11/10/2016 19:38

An all butter shortbread finger.

maddiemookins16mum · 11/10/2016 19:42

Jam/cream dodgers (I can eat a whole pack). Also, coconut creams. Ginger crinkles from sainsburys are lovely too (especially for morning sickness).

EastMidsMummy · 11/10/2016 19:45

A custard cream or bourbon was never considered plain in our house. Plain is plain. Rich tea, digestive, Hob Nob, shortbread, Nice, malted milk, Rich Osbourne etc etc...

Rich tea. I love rich tea biscuits so much. I have finally started a proper diet so I can't eat any Sad.

Igneococcus · 11/10/2016 19:58

Abernethy's or those round biscuits with whole peanuts on them.

EastMidsGPs · 11/10/2016 20:46

I have Iced Gems SmileSmile. Thank u Asda.
And in little individual bags so can take them to work and nibble the icing off to my heart's content (I do have my own cupboard sized office 😉)

Viennese Whirls are absolutely delicious

Not a plain biscuit but also not a chocolate biscuit

Footle · 11/10/2016 22:12

Thanks for empathising, Cocolepew. It does help.

I'm tempted. How many cappuccinos would I have to buy so as to accumulate the equivalent of, say, two standard Abbey Crunches ?

Cocolepew · 12/10/2016 17:08

4 or 5 at least.
Apparently they sell them in a bag. My aunt had them and said she was sick of the sight of them by the end of it. Amateur.

Bought Rich Tea and Lemon Puffs today.

Never saw the 2, revised calulations ste 8 or 9. Maybe 10. Doable?

Footle · 12/10/2016 18:52

I may be in the same category as your esteemed aunt. I shall have to give this more thought.

BowieFan · 12/10/2016 19:18

I'm offended that Rich Tea are even on this list. Rich Tea is what I call a "last resort" biscuit, meaning they're the only biscuits left in the night before I do our shopping. They're so awkward - they're too big to fit in your cup to dunk, and when you bite enough off to dunk them, they collapse!

Cocolepew · 12/10/2016 19:52

Rich Tea are the biscuits of the Gods Shock
Slightly pissed off I thought I had lemon puffs but bought jammie dodgers, with cream. I don't like them Hmm

BieneBiene · 12/10/2016 20:55

Well obviously you snap a Rich Tea in half, hold the two halves back to back THEN dip it in the tea. It's much more structurally sound.

SallyR0se · 12/10/2016 20:57

Rich Tea spread with butter. Dipped in tea, if plain.
