No chocolate allowed but I will allow cream ones Grin.
I'm off chocolate and want a nice biscuit to have with my cup of tea.

I like the oaty hobnobs but my absolute favourite is shortbread.

noblegiraffe · 10/10/2016 22:39

Cow biscuits, you know the ones with cows on (what are they really?)

Are nice biscuits pronounced nice like the ham or nice like the French city?

wiltingfast · 10/10/2016 22:44

Figrolls

Bourbons

Yum Smile

If you're going to put butter on your rich tea, you might as well have your chocolate biscuit. Grin

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 10/10/2016 22:58

OP Are you Jeremy Corbyn trying to redeem himself because of Biscuitgate??

user1474907171 · 10/10/2016 22:59

Shortbread, not because it is my favourite but because it is made with butter and pretty much the only one I can find that doesn't contain palm oil.

VanillaSugarandChristmasSpice · 10/10/2016 23:02

I rest my case.

NewStartNewName · 10/10/2016 23:02

Wiltingfast rich tea biscuits and butter is a whole different ball game to chocolate biscuits!

MissMoo22 · 10/10/2016 23:04

Hobnob.

They are like gold dust in this house. I buy a pack and go to get one and they are gone. DS1 is a greedy fucker addicted to them.

I like them plain or buttered. Today I tried spreading them with nutella and reeces putter butter but yuck.

noblegiraffe · 10/10/2016 23:31

Thanks sabine that'a weird seeing as they're nice tasting biscuits with nothing to do with France.

SilentlyScreamingAgain · 10/10/2016 23:44

Could you not just see a doctor about being 'off chocolate' and, when you're cured, go back to proper biscuits, with chocolate on?

garlicandsapphire · 10/10/2016 23:56

Digestive
Hobnob
Foxs golden crunch

thenightsky · 11/10/2016 00:01

GipsyHill · 11/10/2016 00:02

PoppyPicklesPenguin · 11/10/2016 00:05

Garibaldis (sp?) - we always called them dead fly biscuits

We did too Grin I still do

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 11/10/2016 00:07

Jammie Dodgers

How could I forget to add them on my other post

And none of those pretend Jammies will do

MissTakesOurMaid · 11/10/2016 00:12

Bourbon creams every time - but it has to be the cheapy Tesco ones for me. Smile There's cheap ones similar to a custard cream you can get in the corner shops but they aren't as nice, and fox's filling on their bourbons is too sweet and doesn't fill the entire 'sandwich' of biscuit.

If you're talking plain, then it's gotta be a digestive, in HOT tea. Plain, and only McVities will do. It has to be dunked so it's not soggy but not entirely hard. Mmmmm!

I am fussy a biscuit connoisseur, you see. Blush

Janey50 · 11/10/2016 00:15

Rich Tea or Lincoln.

Mytholmroyd · 11/10/2016 00:49

Dove Farm make better digestive biscuits than McVities and M&S do too in my humble opinion!

Another vote for the cinnamon lotus/biscoff biscuits! My favourite biscuit - and the chocolate coated ones are fab too!

Cocolepew · 11/10/2016 08:16

Grin I'm only off chocolate atm to see if its that that is making me snotty 😷
I have never heard of Lincoln biscuits, are they exotic?
