No chocolate allowed but I will allow cream ones Grin.
I'm off chocolate and want a nice biscuit to have with my cup of tea.

I actually quite like a digestive dipped in tea

Beardsareweird · 10/10/2016 18:51

I used to love Lincoln biscuits but haven't seen them for a while.

BreatheDeep · 10/10/2016 18:51

Oh yes and fruit shortcake.

BowieFan · 10/10/2016 18:52

Shortbread. But they have to be in fingers and they have to be all-butter. I will fight anyone who disagrees.

Cocolepew · 10/10/2016 18:52

I love rich tea and digestives but I sandwich them together with butter and Im supposed to be trying to lose weight.
Can you still buy Gypsy Creams?

gingerboy1912 · 10/10/2016 18:59

All of the above

inaclearingstandsaboxer · 10/10/2016 19:00

Morning coffee biscuits

Remind me if being at play school in the late 1960s

BowieFan · 10/10/2016 19:01

Cocolepew

You can still buy Gipsy creams! I don't know where but they're available somewhere because someone I work with always brings them into the staff room but refuses to tell us where she bought them from! Hmm

BowieFan · 10/10/2016 19:03

I like those biscuits you get in slightly cheap hotels as well. The ones with your tea and coffee making facilities. I have no clue what they are and where to buy them, but I have to hide them from DS1 and DS2 so that I can scoff them myself.

I suspect part of it comes from the fact they're not something you can get in every day life. It ruined Hovis biscuits for me when I found out where to actually buy packets of them. They were much nicer as a once-a-year Christmas thing.

P1nkP0ppy · 10/10/2016 19:03

Ginger nuts or McVities digestives (nobody makes them better)
😋

MyGiddyUncle · 10/10/2016 19:09

Oh no, I don't like coconut

Neither do I. If you made my eat a Bounty i'd vomit on you.

Somehow Coconut Rings are different though, they just don't taste like coconut IMO.

FairyDogMother11 · 10/10/2016 19:14

I love a Danish butter cookie! (Please note I also like most other biscuits, I'm not fussy)

Cocolepew · 10/10/2016 19:17

Maybe she bulk bought a load of Gypsy Creams in 1979 Bowiefan.
They'll run out eventually.

I'm not falling for that one GiddyAunt Hmm

Malted Milk creams
Plain Malted milks
Custard creams
Hobnobs (or rather a supermarket version)

cheapandcheerful · 10/10/2016 19:34

Nice biscuit :)

ILikeThatSong123 · 10/10/2016 19:39

How about salty varieties? Cheesy biscuits ie mini cheddars or even thick-fleshy breadsticks? With some dip? Or without. Or breadsticks with cheese plate?

noeffingidea · 10/10/2016 19:46

Gingernuts for me. They dunk very nicely.

RobinHumphries · 10/10/2016 19:49

Bourbons

Sunnymeg · 10/10/2016 19:50

The late lamented Lincoln biscuit!

jay55 · 10/10/2016 20:16
