To be grateful for my good looks

In very difficult times, being good looking has helped me soldier on

Can your good looks help you get a mortgage? Wondering if I should play on my fabulousness for one.

VeryBitchyRestingFace · 03/10/2016 13:10

Each to their own, OP. Smile

In very difficult times, being able to bathe in asses milk and rub myself down with bars of solid gold has helped me to soldier on.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:11

To be honest I wouldn't wish some of my life experiences on anyone not least how they've left me feeling. - add regrets re messing up perfectly good relationships to the mix etc..

EatsShitAndLeaves · 03/10/2016 13:11

Ahh - but do you drive a Range Rover OP?

DotForShort · 03/10/2016 13:11

Oh, dear.

paxillin · 03/10/2016 13:12

Looking good can be fun and helpful when young. Use the years to grow an interesting personality, society does not value the beauty of women past middle age too highly.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:12

No Range Rover - much smaller car but I love it and am so lucky to have it

I'm grateful for my sandwich. Left over roast chicken and stuffing. De-bloody-licious.

It really is hitting the sweet spot.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:13

They've helped me soldier on when I felt I had nothing else

OP posts:
Hensintheskirting · 03/10/2016 13:14

You are lucky to be good looking, but you're not as lucky as me because I'm really, very good looking. And intelligent. And witty.

Wishimaywishimight · 03/10/2016 13:14

Post a pic and see if anyone agrees with you...

SpeakNoWords · 03/10/2016 13:14

But how? What does it do to help?

LeopardPrintFanny · 03/10/2016 13:15

You're clearly blessed hun.

Do tell me, do you have a toilet brush?

MitzyLeFrouf · 03/10/2016 13:16

OP there's nothing wrong with liking your looks and I'm sorry if you've had times where your looks have been the only positive in your life. But I'm sure you've other things going for you too.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:16

Speak it's helped at times when I've felt very low ... I just think at least I've got something going for me

OP posts:
MissHooliesCardigan · 03/10/2016 13:16

I have managed to soldier on despite being ugly and flat chested.

PerspicaciaTick · 03/10/2016 13:16

My purpose in life is to be the fat, ugly one who, when you are feeling down, you look at and think "Well at least I look better than Tick".

Selfless, that's me. Give, give, give.

bumpetybumpbumpbump · 03/10/2016 13:16

You're the same poster who is helping their kids get ahead by privately educating in primary years aren't you?

Are they good looking too?

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:18

Thanks Mitzy .

OP posts:
Sancia · 03/10/2016 13:19

Your face will distract from your dismal writing skills.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:20

bumpety - I'm not lucky enough to have children.

OP posts:
Sancia · 03/10/2016 13:20

Plus by 35 you'll look as haggard as the rest of us.

SpeakNoWords · 03/10/2016 13:21

Thanks for explaining. I do think you will need to develop more robust coping strategies as good looks won't last forever. Perhaps you're already addressing this.

Mummyoflittledragon · 03/10/2016 13:21

Is this a piss take?

Really you won't get far with that attitude. I genuinely feel sorry for you if you think your face is all you have to offer. I'm so much than my outer packaging.

Trefoil · 03/10/2016 13:22

Speak yes, you're right and I'm trying to
