I'm 16 weeks pg and first noticed symptoms about a week before my missed AF. Friends and family disbelieve this and seem to think I must have imagined the symptoms Hmm so, out of interest when were your first symptoms of pregnancy and what were they?

I got the injection during the third day of my period. My periods stopped immediately after the injection.

I had intercourse for the first time a week later but the condom ripped. Partner did not ejaculate inside Mr but I'm aware that he could have released pre cum

We didn't finish as it was too painful

We tried again the night after But again we couldn't finish as it was too painful

It's been around 2 weeks and I've been gettin cramps in my abdomen, I've been peeing a lot. My boobs are sensitive and sore. I've been getting periods of feeling dizzy and of nausea. Plus I've been overly tired too. I also have taken one or two hot flushes. And both my stomach and boobs feel bloated.

Is there still a chance I could be pregnant or is this just side effects from the injection? Or even my imagination.

Everyone is different so everyone experiences different symptoms at different times.

My best advice to you would be to see a doctor and ask them for advice. There is also plenty of online articles is that would suit you better.

dd1 I feinted at work, mum told me I was pregnant did a test to prove her wrong. I was 12 weeks

dd2 tea tasted funny, did a test again to prove my mum wrong. I was 11 weeks

DS I was moving a heavy furniture for my mum when she said I was pregnant, again tested to prove her wrong, and yes I was pregnant this time I was 14 weeks.

So the only thing I proved was mum always knew when I was pregnant and I didn't.

From about 4 weeks late every time I lit a cigarette I threw up.

HmmHaa · 30/10/2016 19:17

Faintness, extreme tiredness, genuine cravings and MAD dreams. I can also, looking back, pinpoint implantation to the day!
I didn't mention any of my symptoms as I knew it sounded crazy, but like and behold, a week later on the day my period was due: BFP.

I keep a diary as well, so none of this is looking backwards, if you know what I mean.

HmmHaa · 30/10/2016 19:17

Also, congrats!!!

I tipped about $4000aud of vintage champagne down the sink because it tasted "mouldy" and spent the night (New Years Eve) drinking cranberry juice. Started vomming on the way home from a trip to the GP with my husband who'd slipped and cut his hand - and didn't stop until 8months and three weeks later. 🙄

Constant headache and milk tasted off.

Sunbeam18 · 30/10/2016 19:31

Extreme thirst

susurration · 30/10/2016 19:39

About three days before missed period I developed a high temperature that remained high until I miscarried at 6+4. I went off coffee on the day my period was due.

I had a horrid metallic taste in my mouth a few days before period was due. It was what prompted me to take a test. Oh and gagging when brushing my teeth! Had the gagging with both dc.
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

oompaloompaland · 30/10/2016 19:48

Total and complete exhaustion. Mentioned my tiredness to a friend who knew we were trying for a baby, and she twigged I was pg because of that.

FurryLittleTwerp · 30/10/2016 19:49

A slight bleed about ten days before my period was due, huge painful boobs & extreme tiredness - we were on holiday & I was going to bed at 9pm, absolutely shattered.

MrsKoala · 30/10/2016 20:02

With all of mine i have known from between 1-5 days post shag. DS1 2 days after i got the most awful headache and went blind in one eye for 12 weeks. DS2 the very next morning, terrible headache, nausea and fatigue. DD1 5 days later headache, terrible nausea and flu like feelings.

The first 3 months i feel like death warmed up with all of them and i show from 4-6 weeks with awful bloating so i look 5 months gone.

People always know too and everyone jokes 'are you STILL pregnant?' because i seem very obviously pregnant for the whole 9 months. It fees (and looks) like the gestation of an elephant!

MermaidTears · 31/10/2016 10:49

I tested on day 28 and got faint bfp. I had known in my head for at least five days, so very very early!
Went off milk, boobs hurt after craved pickles. But noone believe me either.

TurquoiseDress · 31/10/2016 10:54

I didn't test until I was nearly 2 weeks 'late'- was waiting for period after stopping the pill.

Didn't expect to be pregnant so quick.
Looking back I had sore breasts & v sensitive nipples.
Felt constipated (normally I never am).
Had a one off nosebleed- not had one of those in over a decade!

TurquoiseDress · 31/10/2016 10:55

Also extremely tired- but I put that down to being very busy at work and chasing after our toddler!

TurquoiseDress · 31/10/2016 10:57

To answer your question- I didn't find out I was pregnant until after 6 weeks so I guess my symptoms started at around 4/5 weeks along.

baconandeggies · 31/10/2016 10:58

None - 'early pregnancy symptoms' are just normal luteal (post ovulatory) phase symptoms. Any insistence of otherwise is just confirmation bias.

TurquoiseDress · 31/10/2016 11:00

Just to add- I'd barely stopped taking the pill and although we were technically TTC, I wasn't tracking anything e.g. OPK, temperatures etc

So I wasn't symptom spotting and counting down the days etc, my symptoms are from hindsight after getting positive result.

TurquoiseDress · 31/10/2016 11:01

baconandeggies
I totally agree with you
