to ask you what your earliest symptoms were in pregnancy?

I'm 16 weeks pg and first noticed symptoms about a week before my missed AF. Friends and family disbelieve this and seem to think I must have imagined the symptoms Hmm so, out of interest when were your first symptoms of pregnancy and what were they?

Second time round, within a week of conception I was feeling nauseous and faint and exhausted, food was wrong, and a week later had a positive test.

First time, around 14 weeks I thought I had flu and saw the GP to get a sick note after a week self-cert off sick, and mentioned a metallic taste in my mouth. Then got letter saying "your blood tests show you are pregnant"!

headinthecloud · 29/09/2016 09:47

Wanting to scream in pain everytime I took my bra off. I didn't know I was pregnant and quite sure this was before my missed period

StillaChocoholic · 29/09/2016 09:47

With my first I had period like cramps a week before my period was due which was strange cos they never happened that early and my boobs were sore. I knew before I tested. Woke up day my period was due and hadn't come on so did the test just to confirm but I knew I was.

With this one I didn't have any symptoms until after I tested. Spent first two days of missed period going no I can't be, tested on third day, I am Grin

4 days after DTD/ 10 days before AF due (I was tracking ovulation so pretty clear on dates) I suddenly couldn't stand the smell of fried food. Couple of days after that, my nipples started to hurt.

CatNip2 · 29/09/2016 09:48

sore boobs, both times

Discobabe · 29/09/2016 09:49

First and second times, being very tired, very obvious montgomerys tubercles and spotting/bleeding a few days before af was due. Third time the same things but i also had lots of stomach cramps which I never used to get at all.

Squeegle · 29/09/2016 09:49

Enormous burps like a builder's burp!!

catinbooots · 29/09/2016 09:50

My piss smelt weird

Umblubblub · 29/09/2016 09:55

Insomnia, sore boobs and baby brain, from around a week before my period was due. I left my bag on the train and when I told my DH he looked at me and said 'You're pregnant!' He was right.

StrawberryQuik · 29/09/2016 09:55

I had implantation bleeding a few days before period was due.

scarednoob · 29/09/2016 09:59

I don't believe in premonitions or woo stuff, but I had a very clear image of myself being heavily pregnant and also of myself walking with a little girl.

DP did something really minor, like dropped his (fucking horrible) e-cig and I roared at him like Godzilla.

really bad cramps and sore boobs but no period.

all from about 10 days before due date. took 2 negative tests (so went out and drank vodka, baby wanted to be pickled it seems) before BFP. DD now 12 months old but somehow all that seems more recent than last night, sleep deprivation is a terrible thing Grin

needtoloseastone · 29/09/2016 10:03

Fainting 😟

Rollonbedtime7pm · 29/09/2016 10:09

A horrible taste in my mouth around 4dpo and sore enormous boobs a few days later. Exactly the same each of the 3 times.

The cat also slept on my tummy for a week before the most recent BFP - was so weird as he is not a lap cat and has never done it since! Grin

Crazycatlady123 · 29/09/2016 10:09

Feeling not quite myself for a day a week after conception. A few days later really oily skin and spots, more tired than usual. Generally a bit more gross than usual by burping and farting incessantly Confused

Then a couple days later missed period and BFP Grin then went off tea and coffee for ages and could smell EVERYTHING!

RayofFuckingSunshine · 29/09/2016 10:10

Exhaustion. Well before I got my bfp I was exhausted. I came home from a dog walk and fell asleep on the couch, my husband told me I was pregnant at this point (half joking, but I am usually unable to sleep during the day - except during pregnancy!). Second was my sense of smell increased dramatically. From about 5-6 weeks pregnant (most recent) I was complaining of being followed by a smell. Wasn't particularly unpleasant but made me very sick. Turns out my husband had used fabreeze near my bag but I didn't figure this out until a couple of months back when I smelt it again.

Oysterbabe · 29/09/2016 10:11

I had dizziness a few days before af was due.

FasterThanASnakeAndAMongoose · 29/09/2016 10:11

Going off tea and coffee. Feeling like I had a hangover when I hadn't had a drink... And as a pp said, just a feeling.

Congratulations!

HandmaidsTail · 29/09/2016 10:14

I threw up in Boots. Thought I had a bug.

Woke up the next day and just knew there was someone else in the room with me, so did a test.

Was only about 12 days after DTD.

furryminkymoo · 29/09/2016 10:14

I had really dry bloodshot eyes and was super thirsty before I was late, I didn't test positive until 5 days late and was convinced that I had something wrong with my kidneys or something fluid based. Turns out I had a little one onboard.

hellsbellsmelons · 29/09/2016 10:14

I was throwing up all the time almost immediately!
Congratulations!

Absy · 29/09/2016 10:17

Sobbing at the fecking nationwide advert about the father and son and scarf. That and being completely exhausted. We were supposed to go to a friend's for dinner after work and I decided to lie down for a couple of minutes and fell asleep for two hours. Friend said to DH (who ended up going on his own) "are you sure she's not pregnant?"

mrsstewpot · 29/09/2016 10:17

Sore nipples first time round, although they'd toughened up somewhat with my second!
Blocked, painful sinuses both times.
Congrats. It'seems a joyous time! Grin

butterfliesandzebras · 29/09/2016 10:17

Sore nipples before my period was due. Didn't get sickness till six weeks pregnant.

BagelDog · 29/09/2016 10:18

Total exhaustion like I was coming down with something, and the smallfrom the coffee shop I pass on the way to work making me heave, rather than fancy a latter... way before a positive test.

Congratulations x

EveOnline2016 · 29/09/2016 10:22

Brushing my teeth resulting in vomiting. The morning sickness then didn't stop till 25ish week into the pregnancy both times.
