To cut my husband's ****edited by MNHQ**** with blunt scissors?

So my husband works shifts and this week it is his early shift - he is gone from the house by 5am. I came down this morning to find he had left his iPhone on the worktop. As I was making breakfast for DC's I pressed the home button on his phone to check the time and saw an unread message from my best friend of 27 years saying "is she in bed yet?".

Now, it's my birthday next week so I thought they were arranging some special surprise for me. So left it as that. Dropped the kids off at school but something was niggling at me, I just had this feeling in my gut. His iPhone has got a passcode which I don't know. On my third attempt, by pure and utter luck, I managed to guess it right and get into his phone. What I have seen has made me sick to my stomach. My "friend" has been sending my husband dirty naked pics of herself - full on legs spread and sex toys involved. There are no replies or conversation from him but then I guess these can be deleted??? I noticed he's saved the pictures to his camera roll also - presumably for quick access. I have no idea if they have met - I can't think straight at the moment it feels like everything is in slow motion

My husband NEVER leaves his phone at home so I suspect this was a mistake. I've currently packed all his bags and I am just about to post the pictures of my "friend" on Facebook with a tag saying "you are welcome to him"

I don't know what to do

"Can't believe your XBF's DH knew about this and was ok about it. I'm reckoning he took the pictures. How would you be able to do it yourself??"

She could have used a webcam and then sent the photos on, either to herself or directly to him.

OP - I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling Flowers I do hope your "D"H turns up soon, though, and you get the catharsis you're looking for.

FantasticButtocks · 28/09/2016 18:47

How shocking for you OP that someone you thought of as a close friend, your best friend in fact, would include your H in her strange habits and disregard you totally. How very hurtful.

Obviously it is also shocking and very upsetting that your H seems to have been gladly receiving them. He didn't, when he got the first one, say to you "WTF? Your friend has just sent me a rude picture of herself!" - which is what would have been the normal and straightforward way to behave. I'm not surprised he is staying away.

I can't understand how (I think you said) you don't know if they have even met. How come you know her dh, but you didn't think she knew yours? As your best friend, did she not attend your wedding, or you and H attend hers? I just can't see how two of the most important people in your life may not have met.

How would she have started communicating with him do you think in order to be sending these images?

This must be devastating Flowers

Writerwannabe83 · 28/09/2016 18:48

fantastic - I think the OP meant she didn't know if they'd met up in an affair type style, not whether they'd ever met.

Helmetbymidnight · 28/09/2016 18:49

Er it's very easy to take selfies by yourself.

Pinkbabe1 · 28/09/2016 18:50

He's still not back. I have, in my frantic bid to get answers from someone, messaged her and asked her "why him" her response was almost instant - "because I knew he would never leave his boring life with you, I'm not looking for fuck buddy" I don't know her anymore, after that response I will have no further communication with her. We are done.

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 28/09/2016 18:50

Oh God, I'm so sorry OP. I'd be feeling the same as you right now so well done for not doing anything too drastic. I hope he's returned and you've been able to get it off of your chest Flowers

MiddleClassProblem · 28/09/2016 18:51

I really hope Pink is getting some actual answers and not being fobbed off right now with some bs

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 28/09/2016 18:52

Sorry, cross post. What a horrible cow. As awful as it is, you're well shot of a friend like that. She's obviously been no good for the last 27 years so better that she's gone now than have another 27 years of fake friendship.

What a fucking home wrecker. She's a piece of shit.

MiddleClassProblem · 28/09/2016 18:52

X post

Helmetbymidnight · 28/09/2016 18:53

You could text back - "watch out for the post on your kids birthdays - lol"

BastardGoDarkly · 28/09/2016 18:53

The question 'is she in bed yet' shows he's involved in this.

I can't believe how cold she's being too, just wtf?!

Lovely, I hope you're holding up alright, is there really no one in RL you can turn to?

Ledkr · 28/09/2016 18:53

Does that make sense op?
Either way she's obviously a massive cunt as is he.
Let's hope your new life without them in it turns out to be amazing

MiddleClassProblem · 28/09/2016 18:53

What fucking disrespectful, vicious response! What a cunt! I'm so sorry she's done this to you

eternalopt · 28/09/2016 18:55

Wow. What a cow. I'm so sorry you're going through this OP. Whilst reposting the pics is a bad idea, making it widely known what she gets up to so that others avoid her seems perfectly sensible to me.

venusinscorpio · 28/09/2016 18:55

I agree that saying "is she in bed yet" suggests they had something of an agreement. I doubt this was confined to setting but it's possible it was cyber sex or similar rather than a physical affair.

Hidingtonothing · 28/09/2016 18:55

She's a complete bitch OP, just a thought before you cut contact with her altogether though, is it worth messaging her again asking what time she rang him to tell him they'd been rumbled? Just thinking her reply might tell you whether he does have a secret phone (which I would be demanding he hands over when he deigns to come home) so you can equip yourself with as much evidence as possible.

venusinscorpio · 28/09/2016 18:56

Sexting not setting! Prudish phone!

Champagneformyrealfriends · 28/09/2016 18:56

Nasty bitch. She sounds like a complete narcissist.

Pinkbabe1 · 28/09/2016 18:56

It does make sense, as she was my best friend for so long she knows everything about me and about my relationship with my husband. I suppose she thought we were boring compared to her standards.

OP posts:
venusinscorpio · 28/09/2016 18:57

Totally agree, she sounds almost sociopathic. How can you treat a friend of decades so callously?

Ninasimoneinthemorning · 28/09/2016 18:58

pink please don't think any of this is your fault.

That woman clearly has mental health issues. She is royally fucked up, instead of begging for forgiveness she is actively now trying to hurt you. She is damaged, her Dh will be damaged and she will damage her kids.

As for your Dh - he knew what he was doing when he kept his mouth shut. He could have stopped it at any time.

Turn your phone off and lock your door or go and see some friends or go for a walk to relieve some of the tension.

None of this is your fault
