I was at a wedding in Saturday and there was an ex-couple there.
The ex-H d was emotionally, verbally and financially abusive to his ex-w (witnessed).
She finally left him, gained a stone, had hair and make up done, looked fab and has a hot new man.
Ex-h eyes nearly fell out of his head. He tried to chat to her and she laughed, asked if she knew him and strolled of.
The look on his face was priceless and he just slunk away.
Have you ever seen anyone get what they deserve?

Meant to add, it's not just looks, she's got her happiness back, her self confidence, the sparkle in her eye and iss wonderful to see.

A middle aged man undercut me at speed as approaching a junction as the lights turned green. Drove on a few yards and the cops stopped him. A policeman was radioing down the hill to tell other officers what vehicles to pull over for checks etc. I still feel really happy when I think about that one :)

No, never, from my perspective the horrible, vile people who behave terribly and treat people like dirt seem to live happily after ever.I would not have witnessed the scenario you describe, the ex husband would be with a young sex kitten and the ex wife would be with a female friend and crumble when she saw him, as all the abuse flooded back.Im glad this was not the case for your friend and it's good to hear she is doing well.I'll keep the faith though.

On a similar theme, my ex, who was also abusive has had relationship after relationship, each only lasting a few months. He looks fatter and more sleezy and now his Siblings are having children, they are mixing with him less, because he typifies "Uncle Knobhead". If he didn't still live with his Mother, he'd be a very sad loner. He's also asked me back again and again.

I've seen this time after time, in Men , in their 40's, that went chashing "a better deal", than they thought they were getting with their long term Partners. When they'd actually done very well for themselves.

No dramatic "well they got what was coming to them" moments, but I've seen on Facebook and heard through the grapevine that quite a few of the "mean girls" from school who made my life miserable have been dealt some shitty cards over the years. Makes me smile (even if that does make me sound like a horrible person) because my mum always used to tell me that "nothing ever becomes of a bully" and I didn't believe her at the time! I do believe her now

I dumped a cheater many years ago and saw a friend of his when I was at a party years later with my DH.

The friend said to me God is good. .. you did well to get rid of him. He's been struck off (his practitioners register) and things haven't gone well for him.

I was chuffed to bits.

I had a spectacular karma moment with my ex (who was physically and emotionally abusive).

He messaged me on FB telling me how well I looked a couple of years after we split. I ignored it and blocked him, and at the time had just started a relationship with my wonderful DP.

A few weeks later we were out for a meal in my hometown. As we left the restaurant, I spotted my ex stood with his old group of knobhead mates outside a bar. He scuttled inside when he spotted me with 6'5 DP

Yes. When I was 16 I got a job working in my local family run supermarket. I was there for nearly 1 year working Saturdays and occasional evenings. I didn't really have much interaction with the manager who appeared from time to time to check my 'work' (stacking shelves). I was shy but a good worker. Anyway one day she called me into the staff room at the back and stated that £20 had been taken from her purse. She kept pointing at said purse and insisted I must know. She searched my bags, coat and locker and found nothing. I didn't take the money and said so several times. I was flustered, young, innocent and inexperienced on how to deal with it. I burst into tears and was horrified she didn't believe me. I went home told my parents and quit the job 1 week later. I just couldn't make her believe me. One day by chance I read in the local paper that someone really did try to steal from her. In fact they followed her home got her to take them back to the store and stole the contents of the safe before locking her inside and fleeing! I read she was shaken and unharmed, however I really felt that karma dealt her what she deserved. The store closed down for good a few months later.

Yes. But it hasn't been instant karma. It's been a slow unfolding over a number of years and is still ongoing.

One saw a motorcyclist speed through a pedestrian crossing at which people were waiting, only to fall off his brand new motorbike for no reason further up the road. He didn't hurt anything other than his pride (and the motorbike), but it seemed like natural justice to me

In an Asda car park, guy driving like a tool nearly ran me down and laughed while his passenger hurled abuse, they went round the corner and hit a parked truck (still in the car park). No one was hurt but his car was a mess and I drove past smiling sweetly.

Another driving one, driving on duel carriageway and sports car came from nowhere and was right up my backside, he moved over and bullied car in fast lane to move out of his way and shot off. We were all driving well under the limit following a police car which he didn't see until it chased him down!!!

I once drove past my arch enemy just as a snow plough passed and knocked him to the ground with a shit ton of snow.

It didn't kill him, which would have been true justice, but it made my day all the same.

My former area manager was a real cow to me when my store manager went off long term sick. My contract specified that I was basically the manager when she wasn't there and I had been doing various things for over 2 years when the need arose. Suddenly, I wasn't allowed to do any of those things and in the end, I took another job and left. (six people left that year and given that there were only 5 working there at any given time, that is quite an accomplishment!) However, she had to reapply for her job the following year and didn't get it. Karma does exist!

This is why I love working in the magistrates' courts. It's a constant stream of comeuppance.

I love the (numerous) footballers accused of speeding at over 100mph, who park on the double yellows outside, stroll in with their hotshot lawyer, plead they're not going to be able to get to work if they lose their licence, then get told tough, you're losing their licence anyway, just like Barry off the estate. The law doesn't discriminate between the rich and the poor. The amount of times I've heard that expensive cars can 'handle' doing 120mph on the M6 is laughable.

I also enjoy the wife beaters who arrive in the dock like the cock of the walk then start to get hot under the collar when it all unravels. Their ex wives always sit silently at the back of the court to watch them get sent down.

The drug dealers who claim that 2kg of cocaine is for personal use. Then inevitably get banged up.

My favourite was a man who had smashed his daughter's face in with a dictionary. He walked into court, told them she'd provoked him (she was 12) and that he was 'prepared' to do the community service if she apologised to him. Nope. Sent down for 12 weeks over Christmas. He started crying and looking in panic at his lawyer. I was delighted with that one. I've never forgotten you Joe, in case you're reading this. I hope jail was fun for you.

A few years ago I was driving up to my Mums house, 30mph road and I was doing probably about 34. Up my arse was a baseball capped lad in a corsa, clinging to the steering wheel and clearly annoyed that I wasn't going fast enough for him.
As I approached the bend in the road I slowed to 30 on the dot as I knew the layby up ahead was the haunt of the local camera van, especially on a Thursday afternoon. Sure enough I turned the corner and immediately clocked it.
Unfortunately for corsa boy he was so far up my arris at this point he didn't see it, so when he overtook me, on chevrons at breakneck speed I had to laugh. I do hope he enjoyed his fine and points.

Another motoring one was a BMW driver, again sat up my arse and I'm doing the speed limit. Stopped at traffic lights and he goes into the other lane ready to tear off. I was crying with laughter as the lights changed and he stalled it. I gave him a cheery wave and carried on my way. He quietly dropped in several cars back.

PalaceGirl that's very harsh of you. The manager didn't actually punish you for suspecting you of theft, there was no consequence for you - you didn't need to quit. Being glad that she was followed home then forced back to the store under threat is not justice at all. She would've been terrified. Not the same thing at all and doesn't paint you in a good light.

MY step mum monster put on a shit ton of weight after (her & my dad) splitting up my family. She looks as miserable as anything 15yrs later. Maybe she has now learnt what a twat my dad is (as I don't think he stopped his cheating ways)

I once worked with a man who thought quite a lot of himself, behaving like a twat and treating women we worked with like utter shit. He and I never got along and he often took the piss and was deliberately rude to me. On a work night out he came on to me in quite an aggressive way, leaving me feeling quite upset afterwards. When I rejected him (politely since he was still senior to me) he said he'd only been hitting on me because he felt sorry for me and that I wasn't his type anyway.

Months later he was at our work place and the police arrived, arresting him on-site for the suspected theft of many, many thousands. I always secretly liked that his swagger and bullshit came back to bite him in the arse so splendidly, but haven't ever told anyone about it because it makes me a very bad person.

Think I've probably mentioned this one before, but it's worth retelling

My friend had a horrible swine of a boyfriend: the possessive type who sees no problem with sleeping around himself, but accused her constantly of doing the same. He actually accused her of having an STD - it was thrush!

Anyway, thanks to his lifestyle, he contracted genital warts, which he blamed on her thrush
He was prescribed a cream to get rid of them, didn't bother to read the instuctions properly, and left the cream on instead of wiping it off after a short time.

Many years ago I worked in a shop. I worked bloody hard. My manager was a fantasist who claimed he was ex SAS amongst other things. He was also a lazy twat.
He'd disappear upstairs for a sleep most afternoons and to be fair I didn't mind as he was out from under my feet. As the shop was quiet I'd usually sit and read. One day on a power trip he decided to smash up the chair so I could no longer sit. A few days after that he attempted to belittle me in front of a customer.
I walked in the following morning and hadn't even gotten my coat off when he thrust his coffee cup at me without a word. I turned around and walked out.

When I got home I called the manager who ran the other store in the small chain. I told her I was sorry, I'd quit and why. I also suggested she take a look at the CCTV to see exactly what manager actually did.

Well, she looked and saw everything. She sacked him and closed down the store. I spoke to her a few weeks later and she told me she'd been having doubts about keeping the store on anyway as it was only breaking even, and was only doing it to keep me and the manager in a job. My walking out made the decision pretty easy for her.

I still get a smug grin whenever I think about the bastard.

When I worked in a hospital, the ex school bully came in for a circumcision as he has such virulent genital warts that they couldn't be cured any other way.

I heard of someone who was apparently openly boastful about beating and robbing an old lady. He got away with it, but then weeks later in the newspaper he had been burned alive in a house fire!
