And to wonder what their secrets are? I hear it all the time and have no idea how they manage it. It would be my idea of nirvana not to iron again.

I only iron things which need ironing. Shirts, dresses, trousers ALWAYS need ironing and you can spot an unironed shirt a mile off!

I don't iron either. If something gets really creased, I just wash it again.

WhatamessIgotinto · 19/09/2016 19:05

In have tried not ironing, I really have! I've tried shaking stuff about, folding straight from the drier etc etc but stuff still looks creased! I hate creased clothes!

I stopped ironing about 15 years ago (maybe more) when my iron blew up. I have never looked back. Sometimes I look a bit creased, but I can live with that.

If it needs ironing I don't buy it!

I never iron. I line dry or dry on a heated airer. The only things I bother about are DH's work shirts but they get sent out to be done as I can't iron won't iron Grin

MariaCameFromNashville About 10 years ago, my mate Glo, introduced me to Waitrose iron water. I was a convert for a few months but have reverted to boiled tap water owing to personal austerity Grin It's one of the things I'd get my housekeeper to use if I ever won the lottery...
