It was awful. I was desperately trying to BF a tongue tied newborn and they put a drip in each hand. The doctor came to put one in the other hand and I asked if he was planning on taking the first one out and when he said no, I just sobbed. Pretty miserable.

I was in hospital for 6 weeks with my daughter. Hoping the boy will be straight forward!

My delivery was the only easy bit Grin

I had 2 weeks bed rest with pre eclampsia and she was born with meningitis so we had a 4 week stay in the neo natal

I loved being pregnant. Have said over and over I'd happily be pregnant and go through labour again. Just don't want a baby right now!!! Have offered surrogacy for close friends and gay couple. As long as it's not my egg

helena No, I managed to talk him out of it! Would have been too stressful. Have sent him lots of pics, though. Had no idea posting photos of kids in uniform on FB was such a thing.

Umbongo. Good luck. I remember my birth plan was 'no drugs, no epidural, all natural'. I had gas and air, pethidrine, an epidural and a C-section. So much for the 'plan'!

I'm so upset at not being missed today. No concern for me being potentially missing.

I could be lying in a ditch for all you know!!

But especially upset at AGL, considering when he went missing I practically coordinated his missing persons campaign. I even contacted Interpol and changed my MN NN for him.

That's it. I'm leaving you all!!!

Oh dear all different pregnancy stories. I was 17 when I became upduffed and 18 when I had dd. Had no problems except for being scared as very quick labour. Don't want any more dc, well don't think I do.

Lots of different stories!

DD1 was fairly simple. Had forceps as she wasn't progressing.

DD2 was going lovely until she got stuck. Alarm sounds, 9 nurses/doctors/midwifes run in. Bed flung back and she's heaved out of me and needed resuscitating Sad

Oh and I didn't deliver the placenta with DD2 so had to go to theatre to have it pulled out 😬😷

red. You were most definitely missed; just having a slight brain malfunction over weird shoe box request.

helena. It would have been awful - he'd have turned up honking of weed with his jeans halfway down his arse.

carb. Yep, my DS's heart suddenly stopped beating after 30 hours; the midwife turned the monitor away from me, which was terrifying. I remember the obstetrician apologising that a C-section was necessary, and me just shouting "Get him out! Now!"

I would watch Bake-Off but still can't find the remote (I reckon ex hid it when he was last down). I'm not very good at cooking. I can make an okay New York cheesecake, but apart from that, zilch.

I attempted scons once and they sort of shrank in the oven. We're a bit like gravel, with raisins in.
