Well Mila just threw her first tantrum at my friends house. How embarrassed am I right now!!

I might get a deceased and stuffed cat. No vet's bills. I could put him on top of the telly.

Well, I wasn't suggesting a dead one, AGL - just not a real one.

I had a battery powered cat once. It purred and went up and down as if it was breathing. Took AA batteries.

DH got it for me as a Christmas present one year. Black and furry, it was. But after quite a bit of use it made a strange clanking noise so I gave it to the charity shop.

True story.

I had a pretend puppy that walked along and yapped - and did a little wag of it's tail when you clapped - it was great!. I loved that toy - you have just reminded me of it.

Oh, my DD had that dog! She could never get it to obey her commands because it was a robot dog we had a furry pig that walked up and down and wagged its tail too!

I had one of those fish that swung out at right angles and sang a song!

I never had any of these! I was deprived!

Oh, I loved mine! It sang "Mack the Knife", if I remember rightly.

Have just got DS settled, when some utter bloody arse upstairs decides to start drilling! Have yelled several non-Mumsnetty swearwords and it's stopped for a bit, but if it starts again.....
