Oh my poor little girl. A*AB & she's srill holding out for her first choice university. The regrade came back with the same mark so she can't reapply for the same course. She's currently looking at different courses which have lower entry requirements. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

vanilla such a shame for her. Even worse that not that long ago there wasn't even a distinction between A and A* so AAB was the most any uni could ask for (bar oxford and Cambridge). I hope she gets a course she's happy with.

Portia I had phone calls off someone about my computer too. I had him going for ages and then when he asked what computer I had I said it was a pink one. He asked what make and I said my granddaughters V-Tech, ages 3-6. He put the phone down.

Btw I'm not a grandmother and I have no idea if pink V-Tech's come in age 3-6. But I had great fun.

Commiserations, Vanilla - it's rotten luck when that happens. "So near and yet so far" is particularly bitter when your DD had set her heart on that particular course and Uni. if she's just heard, she'll need a few days to mourn that course before thinking seriously about another one.
