These threads, which lie empty as the night, remain unposted upon. Verily, you know what to do.*

Mydress yes awful

Bettercallsaul1 · 20/08/2016 22:46

A double rejection, Jess. Well at least you can do something about the one in your house - kick him out ASAP.

Bettercallsaul1 · 20/08/2016 22:48

I know, Blue - two families shattered.

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 22:53

The sea is still roaring outside I wish it would calm down dd is out and don't like it

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 20/08/2016 22:53

better he's sleeping on the sofa while I am in bedroom on MN.

portia. You think DrSeth is female? Oh god. Are we going to have to contact 'Catfish'?

VanillaSugar · 20/08/2016 22:57

And then there's the windsurfer in Essex. Why, I mean WHY would anyone be so foolhardy with stormy seas?

It just doesn't make sense Vanilla, but some people like risk or are at least prepared to ignore it to do something they like.

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:02

DrSeth hasn't endeared him/ herself to me. Jess he or her could be anyone but the time they take to reply to things suggests a google guru. Careful !

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:05

Better then other people then have to put their lives at risk to save the idiots. It makes me so cross!

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 20/08/2016 23:07

I don't know if you guys heard about it but last year there was the boat capsizing in Canada. A young man with Downs and his dad died. I knew his brother. We went to school together. He lost his brother and his dad and he nearly lost his mum in one go. It was awful and really sad.

I can't say I've been following the other thread with DrSeth but what I've heard isn't great. Confused

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:08

Jess AnyFucker is ok and a very wise lady who gives good advice.

RedOnHerHedd · 20/08/2016 23:11

Are we all dating now on this thread?

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:11

Being no haven't heard of that but it's awful

Bettercallsaul1 · 20/08/2016 23:11

Exactly, Portia - they are thoughtless. It's the same with climbers who go out in all weathers, often completely inexperienced, and then the Mountain Rescue teams have to risk their lives trying to bring them back to safety.

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:13

Yes im dating AT obvs

It was probably bigger news around my way because it was 2 people from my town.

RedOnHerHedd · 20/08/2016 23:15

I hadn't noticed you were dating him Portia Grin

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:18

I read somewhere that a climber was found on Snowdonia wearing trainers, don't know if that's true but sounds about right for those who think they can beat the elements.

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:19

Oh did you not know red?

RedOnHerHedd · 20/08/2016 23:21

No, no idea at all Portia. Hadn't noticed at all. WinkGrin

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:21

Being that's tragic !

PortiaCastis · 20/08/2016 23:22
Grin
VanillaSugar · 20/08/2016 23:24

Quite a few do that. Dh & I were climbing somewhere near Glencoe, complete with Bothy Bag, Ice axes, the works. As we were coming down, a family were on their way up wearing T shirts & trainers.

Vanilla They sound daft. I havent the courage to go climbing, well hadn't really thought about it. I'm cocooned in my little town where I know most people. Swimming no problem but once went on a zip wire and didn't like it very much.
