These threads, which lie empty as the night, remain unposted upon. Verily, you know what to do.*

AGL You'll feel better after your painkillers.

but when I had an abscess and was waiting for dental appointment, I couldn't sleep or bite down on tooth. Pain was going up into my eyes. The only things that worked was Migraleve and a glass of wine. Maybe the Migraleve alone would have worked Wink Ordinary painkillers did nothing. I read about the Migraleve tip on the Internet. I don't have migraines so had to go out and buy it.

AGL I wish you could have a cat. I know you'd be so kind to it.

Having a dog would help me to get out too. It's hard to find the motivation. Once the boys are back in school I'll start to concentrate on myself a little bit more.

I am going to smuggle a cat into my flat.

One if the staff who used to work here, used to bring her dogs in but is getting rid of one so I might take it! Grin

That sounds like a week's work you've done in one morning, cats!

Cats are knowing little creatures. They know when I'm having a bad day, the older one more so (white and ginger) when I'm not feeling good he doesn't leave my side. He'll be 3 on Thursday!
The ginger one has calmed down a bit since he had his balls chopped off just over a week ago. Before that he was an ASBO cat!!!

That's very intuitive for a cat, Red! You associate empathy more with dogs, don't you?

Awww we are onto pet talk. I have three cats. I want another one. Dp says no. He's being bloody unreasonably. He also said no to a penguin ffs.

Girl cat 1 is my cuddly cat, she sleeps on me, follows me about and is generally very affectionate. Boy cat is the bastard and girl cat 2 is a bit thick but lovely anyway.

DH said no to the second cat, but I brought him home anyway. He also said no to a polar bear. But I think I'll bring one home anyway. .

That's the op my dog is recovering from now. He had a retained testicle so the whole thing was more invasive than it would otherwise have been.

Hello Better

I read somewhere about cats being good at picking up "vibrations". When I was a kid I had a cat who'd always snuggle up to me if I was crying.

Hello Being! Are you lost in IKEA? If you're still there in two weeks we'll send a search party! And don't forget, only buy what you can actually fit in your car!

Mycats

Your pets sound lovely.

He also said no to a penguin ffs

Husbands are soooooo unreasonable about pets. I wanted an orca. Said I could keep it in the bath, but he wasn't having it. Not allowed a monkey either!

Poor dog Toad. How's he doing? Simba didn't even realise he'd had it done. Even the vet said he was running about as soon as he woke up. She said he was nuts!

Poor dog Toad. How's he doing?

He had to wear that plastic cone thing for first few days which he hated.

It's healing really well. He just needed the nurse to look at his stitches this morning and she pulled a knot of them off. I think it hurt a bit, but he still cuddled her and licked her neck afterwards. He's such a loving boy :)

She said he was nuts!

Or nutless now, really Wink

That's it. They'd get on great. Wish our husbands would try and understand.

Very much nutless! Male cats are supposed to be very loving, which mine are, but they can spray if they're not castrated, and since they're house cats, I didn't want them pissing everywhere.

My boy cat is sooo loving. He lives on the sofa tucked in as close as he can get every evening. He's called Chucky.
