I've just been reading that thread about Cornwall, Portia. Read about two thirds of it and was glad to see that the vast majority of posters were defending Cornwall and extolling its many beautiful areas and villages. Lots of people were recommending long lists of places to visit. Luckily it was only the OP and a couple of others who were criticising it. We used to go every year and loved it.

Just had a look at bcc news most read - tragic about the family in Cornwall (dad died, 2 yr old critical, mum and older siblings ok) and in Scotland (mum and 7yr old died but 13yr old brother survived - poor poor boy to loose his mum and brother like that).
