Go on. You know you want to. Either don't post or help me get to a thousand posts (again). Please sing, laugh, quote Jane Austen and post pictures of Aiden Turner in the buff.

Don't feel ignored noonesfool - the last thread was intermittent ramblings and snippets of information that we never knew, never thought we would need to know and are now grateful for.

Noonesfool

I came into it quite late, but was warmly welcomed indeed :)

I came away with the impression of having been entertained hugely. I experienced much eccentricity, wit and jocularity.

The thread meandered, went off at tangents and had no plan. It was all the better for it, I believe. Nothing was off-limits.

There was a lot about a certain Mr Aidan Turner, whom I confess I knew not before the thread. I think a certain poster with the initials PC would rather I still lived in ignorance of him. I got the distinct impression she was rather taken with him Wink

I think that's it. Fun was had by all.

Hope you join us on this journey. I can thoroughly recommend it as a great way to travel!

Noonesfool - In the previous thread of the same name, we discussed vampires, the novels of Jane Austen, name-changing and eating insects. We played I Spy and tried (unsuccessfully) to guess the name of a certain poster's famous(ish) ex-husband. We tried not to mention the Game. We had ample opportunity to salivate over a certain Aidan Turner Esq. We did our best to wean the OP off her Crystal Meth habit but were sadly unsuccessful. Most of all, we congratulated ourselves on managing to get to a thousand posts before the Apocalypse. HTH

Noonesfool · 06/08/2016 20:51

I just lost the game.

Was it the blue crystal meth? The good stuff?? 😳😳

AliceInHinterland · 06/08/2016 20:51

It's really none of your business OP.

Bettercallsaul1 · 06/08/2016 20:51

Now you have far too much information, Noonesfool. Grin

Noonesfool · 06/08/2016 20:52

And thank you, for the summaries. Most enlightening.

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 20:52

Now, this Game thing.

Dare I ask? I never got it last time around, but by the time I was in a position to post about my ignorance, the chat had moved on.

Bettercallsaul1 · 06/08/2016 20:53

She denied taking it, Noonesfool - claimed it was garlic she was desperate to get hold off.

Noonesfool · 06/08/2016 20:55

Garlic. Uh huh.

That old chestnut.

catbally · 06/08/2016 20:57

I have no idea

Bettercallsaul1 · 06/08/2016 20:58

We weren't fooled, even though she tried to present photographic evidence and whatnot. (Clearly faked)

robusttoday · 06/08/2016 20:58

i think cartilagy kneecaps sound like a great idea

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 20:58

Sad really, the lengths she went to.

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 20:59

Now I know why babies can't walk!

Noonesfool · 06/08/2016 20:59

toad The aim of The Game is to not think about The Game. If you do think about The Game, you lose and you must announce you lost The Game.

Jury's out on how you win.

OreosAreTasty · 06/08/2016 21:01

Wanker.

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 21:03

Make no mistake, Noonesfool - although everything I said above about the last thread being fun (and it WAS), it also required a lot of rolling-up of sleeves and just putting one's nose to the grindstone and getting on with things.

You don't just fill a thread that no-one responds to without grit, determination and Churchillian tenacity.

I think you'll find the following images printed out and placed around your computer area helpful with motivation:-

Inspirational

Noonesfool · 06/08/2016 21:05

Right. Got it Toad.

Grit. I think that's what is required. And perhaps some cargo trousers.

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 21:05

TBH, I think this thread will need even more dedication if we are to beat the previous record set for number of days it took to reach 1000.

The pressure is on.

If we have lots of fun along the way though, it could all happen with apparent ease though.

Elbows ossify over your first 11 years. Come rub my tree of love. A mnemonic to remember the order of the parts.

toadgirl · 06/08/2016 21:06

Alice

Good girl!

You've got the Right Stuff Grin

VanillaSugar · 06/08/2016 21:06
