Yeah, I think we all know now, but is there like a 1% chance any form of ticket looks like this!?!?

This is basically a follow on too

Agree with the play scheme idea check out your local council page- there's a few on in my area

JeanGenie23 · 02/08/2016 08:28

iheart you are wrong, please don't patronise me put my pearls downHmm I am a CM of 10yrs, she lied and said she was in one place whilst she was in another, yes this is a safeguarding issue. Look in to it yourself if you do not believe me

Notagainmun · 02/08/2016 08:31

This CM is crazy if she really had done this. She has stolen from her customer. Lied to the whereabouts of the child and confused and encouraged a child to lie to his mother. She is a disgrace to the profession and needs to be reported to the police and Ofsted.

Inertia · 02/08/2016 08:32

On the childcare front OP, are you local to Chester? There are lots of holiday playschemes, which might be an option.

AllMyBestFriendsAreMetalheads · 02/08/2016 08:33

Are the zoo staff in yet??

BillyNotQuiteNoMates · 02/08/2016 08:34

Jean are you in Chester - OP needs a childminder - fast!

JeanGenie23 · 02/08/2016 08:37

Hahah no unfortunately, central London! I do go to London zoo often, it's fantastic! Grin

99percentchocolate · 02/08/2016 08:38

So bizarre. I wonder if CM said they'd been without thinking about it and now feels she can't back down? she definitely won't be able to once this is printed in the DM

TheRealKimmySchmidt63 · 02/08/2016 08:41

It is a safeguarding issue - parents were lied to about their child's whereabouts

Agree about safeguarding...

user1469643462 · 02/08/2016 08:53

the posters that have been nasty, under a user username are not me. No I haven't received an email yet.

Yes, I was looking at some of those holiday camps, will be rining around today to see if any are available.

Why just one? I'm a bit confused as they are both the same scenario?

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 02/08/2016 08:57

Talking of ofsted, to be a cm isn't it essential that not only you but no one in the house has a criminal record? This is fraud and (assuming that the worlds worst fake isn't real of course) should be reported to the police and prosecuted. They can then investigate and inform the other parents, who will probably also pull their kids out.
Then once she is prosecuted, yes (afaik) she will lose her ofsted registration.

I can't see any of the visitor posts on FB. Have they locked it down?

gonetoseeamanaboutadog · 02/08/2016 08:57

Place marking

Gothgirl78 · 02/08/2016 08:58

Does your ds's school have a holiday club? Presumably not. At my children's school there is only holiday club at one of the primary schools in the village so if there's not one in his there maybe one in a neighbouring school.

DancingPenguin1 · 02/08/2016 09:04

There are no child tickets, on or off line, that cost £22. Your CM doesn't even lie well!! I couldn't leave my child with someone I didn't trust. It's despicable she tried to make your child out to be a liar/ confused. I hope you find alternative child care op.

Polly I think there's a link to the FB thread on about page 4 of this thread. I couldn't find the it on the main FB page, though it's there somewhere. Annoyingly I commented on the thread so that I could get notifications for any further comments, but it doesn't seem to have worked.

DancingPenguin1 · 02/08/2016 09:08

Sorry, just noticed the price there includes the online discount is included, so £22 could have been the gate price but in that case she wouldn't have been able to print off her own ticket at home.

EmmaJ86 · 02/08/2016 09:08

Most defintley fake. What I don't understand as a fellow CM is why she's done this. I took my children to the ice cream farm near Chester yesterday I covered all costs. We are going to a zoo in a few weeks. I have purchased and paid the price. It's my choice to go to these places why should the parents pay for it.

raviolidreaming · 02/08/2016 09:10

If you're on your phone, they're tricky to spot. Scroll down slowly and they're after photos and upcoming events - you need to click into the link.

user1469643462 · 02/08/2016 09:11

Gate tickets are £22, I checked on their website, but so typical to pick the maximum cost it would ever be.

Seeing the laughing emoticons all over the fb post is depressing. I wish I was having that much fun...
