Yeah, I think we all know now, but is there like a 1% chance any form of ticket looks like this!?!?

This is basically a follow on too

Chester Zoo Hi all - drum roll please

We've spoken to the team, and the ticket in question is indeed a fake ticket. All of our official tickets include a barcode that we can scan on entry.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, CZ.

ilovelamp82 · 02/08/2016 09:13

Chester zoo just confirmed it's a fake!

Right then OP Flowers

I know it's a trope, but call 101. Your CM has committed fraud and stupidly gave you the evidence.

CandODad · 02/08/2016 09:15

Love the reply of FB "drum roll please"

giraffesCantReachTheirToes · 02/08/2016 09:15

OP when we were in a similar spot last year (in Chester) we got an emergency nanny via Tinies childcare agency. Which cost a fortune but it helps when you're on the spot. For the rest of August there are the Kings camps, I think there's space at Ash Grove nursery (which is lovely) and it may be worth checking out the Au Pairs and Nannies in Cheshire FB page to see if anyone's free there. If you're in a complete pickle PM me as our old au pair is waitressing nights but might be free/willing during the day (and is wonderful).

RalphSteadmansEye · 02/08/2016 09:17

OP - another place to try for summer childcare might be any local private schools. They often run summer play schemes which are open to all children not just those attending their school.

Good luck with sorting this mess out today.

rollonthesummer · 02/08/2016 09:19

What now, then, OP!?

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 02/08/2016 09:20

It's fraud bill, who would you suggest she calls?

MrsWorryWart · 02/08/2016 09:20

OP

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I really wish I knew what to suggest. It must be a nightmare 😟

Hope you sort something out Flowers

BillyNotQuiteNoMates · 02/08/2016 09:20

I think OPs first step should be to speak to other parents who will have been ripped off as well. I wonder if CM does this regularly but didn't anticipate a child who could articulate to parents about where they had really been. Does she usually child mind for 5 year olds, or just toddlers? I'd be furious!
Not least because I didn't know where my child was when I thought I did. Don't childminders need to complete a risk assessment for trips, I'm sure I did.

Ghostbusters?

YvaineStormhold · 02/08/2016 09:21

Sorry, couldn't resist.

SemiNormal · 02/08/2016 09:21

I'd ring CM first, tell her I know she's lying. Demand a refund for the money - and for any advance payments you've sent. Then I would inform her I'd be contacting a regulatory body and all other parents under her care. I wouldn't be phoning 101 though.

I'd LOVE to hear CMs excuse.
