Yeah, I think we all know now, but is there like a 1% chance any form of ticket looks like this!?!?

This is basically a follow on too

Surely if the CM had taken other children to the zoo the next day, she'd have just given you one of their tickets, not made one...? Hmm

Bummy that's the best post I've seen regarding the 'userxxxx' debate Grin

UnexpectedBaggage · 02/08/2016 07:06

I do hope MNHQ start banning troll hunters. Just report and shut the fuck up, why don't you?

Waits for resolution.

Still laughing at the elephant pic (OK place marking)

backtowork2015 · 02/08/2016 07:13

Got to know how this pans out

snowgirl29 · 02/08/2016 07:15

I was in 2 minds reading your first thread. I have a DS with possible ASD and we had problems at his first school, they would always tell me he'd behaved absolutely fine at school today, then he'd tell me "I had to stand near the stage at lunchtime because I kept on pinching people". Of course he was told not to do it but I'm just making a point of how honest some young DCs can be. HOWEVER, when he moved school, he still very convincingly, in an attempt to impress his new mates probably, managed to tell the teacher and his classmates mummy had three pet snakes and kept spiders! We don't have any pets whatsoever.

But yes that ticket totally looks fake. I have taken my DCs out to many places and most of them give a receipt style ticket. Lots of people keep the tickets as souvenirs too don't they or is that just me? Blush I've still got tickets from a museum in a scrapbook I took DCs to years ago. Cost us a few quid entrance and even they look better quality than this one.

Just choked on me cornflakes reading the Facebook post! Late to the party but definately not placemarking x

IamNotDarling · 02/08/2016 07:25

Gosh you are all bloody gorgeous!

IHeartTyrion · 02/08/2016 07:31

The CM should be reported to Ofsted, she has lied and this has become a safeguarding issue

Oh please 🙄🙄

Yes, the 'CM' is bang out of order on many counts but a safeguarding issue?! Put your pearls down!!

IHeart there is a safety issue if she's lying to the parents about where she's taking these children

Thequilltosurvive · 02/08/2016 07:41

I've been loads, used to be a zoo member. It's most definitely fake.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 02/08/2016 07:41

I'd remove your child immediately from this CM based on the fact that she seems to be incredibly dense and doesn't know when to stop digging that big bloody hole!

Assuming the ticket is a dud of courseWink.

ChampagneTastes · 02/08/2016 07:42

I think this point has been made before but while all of this is hilarious (sorry OP but it really really is) it's the fact that she underminded the OP's DS and made him uncertain of what he knew that would really piss me off. I hope he comes to understand that he was not wrong or confused, just lied to.

HelloWadeKinsella · 02/08/2016 07:44

Definitely fake! 🤔 PAPYRUS? I imagine it was a tough choice between that and a nice animal webdings font! 🐘🐫🦁

micemicebabies · 02/08/2016 07:49

Any news from the zoo this morning? :)

dwinnol · 02/08/2016 07:52

Would someone link to the sister thread please? Thanking you.

BillyNotQuiteNoMates · 02/08/2016 07:54

Well I think you should give notice to your CM, as the trust has irrevocably broken down and give her a lovely leaving gift, of a spade

Ilovenannyplum · 02/08/2016 08:00

Haaaaa. That's absolutely not a genuine ticket Hmm

Paulat2112 · 02/08/2016 08:01

darling you are obviously talking about me, thank you!

fastdaytears · 02/08/2016 08:02

Thank you darling

Stillwaitingforthesummer2come · 02/08/2016 08:04

OP are there no local schools with holiday clubs on? Your child doesn't usually have to go to that school to attend.

PacificDogwod · 02/08/2016 08:06

snowgirl, yes, I read the first thread and did not comment as I was withholding judgement: I have DCs with vivid imaginations who can be very convincing with their very realistic sounding stories.

But as things unfolded….
I am almost tempted to re-join FB, just to be able to post on the Chester Zoo page Grin
