Yeah, I think we all know now, but is there like a 1% chance any form of ticket looks like this!?!?

This is basically a follow on too

Sitters.co.uk for emergency childcare

MrsUnderwood · 02/08/2016 00:05

Wow, does the CM have some kind of serious money worries because she'd have to be desperate to try pulling a scam like this.

MamaBear98 · 02/08/2016 00:06

I've been following the two threads and have been very amused but I genuinely hope you get sorted ASAP op...

Allywill · 02/08/2016 00:06

Ring Chester zoo?

BurningBridges · 02/08/2016 00:07

What Facebook page is this when I click on that the formatting is all wrong and there's just a scroll of MN comments nothing else? (I read all 25 pages to get this far I want some sort of recognition please) (like a Greenshield Stamp book)

Tinofsardines · 02/08/2016 00:16

Op at least with the emergency leave you'll be able to take your lo to Chester Zoo for real!!

notapizzaeater · 02/08/2016 00:18

I can't believe she thought she'd get away with that stupid piece of paper

trumpybum1 · 02/08/2016 00:27

Place marking

IHeartTyrion · 02/08/2016 00:27

What would Ofsted do if you reported it to them? Is this the kind of thing she would lose her job over, or would she get a fine?

  1. She is self employed, she wouldn't lose her job!

  2. OFSTED would do nothing, what 'she' has 'done' has no impact on the care she provides!

Bluewombler2k · 02/08/2016 00:33

allywill love it

Bluewombler2k · 02/08/2016 00:37

Sorry OP, feel bad about this but I now reeaaally want to read the FB thread Blush

ladyme · 02/08/2016 00:39

I don't agree that what she's done has no impact on the care provided. If you pay someone to look after your child, you are entitled to know where your kid is and that's aside from the fact trust is one of the most important facets of child care.

cakedup · 02/08/2016 00:40

How odd that the CM made a fake ticket when she could have just said she lost it!

SageYourResoluteOracle · 02/08/2016 00:44

And to follow on from ladyme's post, really unfair on the OP's DS that Zoominder expected him to not be believed about not going to the zoo. Almost as if she perceives a 5 year old to be too daft to blow the cover. This is the thing that would make me most uncomfortable.

But my god, I LOVE the comments on FB. Proper exciting!!!

SageYourResoluteOracle · 02/08/2016 00:45

Too daft to not blow the cover

ladyme · 02/08/2016 00:47

Agree with that too. I sure most parents are like me and tell their children that no one should ever tell them to keep a secret or lie to me -- just common sense to teach them that from the start.

SageYourResoluteOracle · 02/08/2016 00:51

And I did mean too daft to blow the cover! Ignore my 2nd post!

Fucks sake- I'm so over-excited about this MN/FB mash-up that I can't string a virtual sentence together!!!

SageYourResoluteOracle · 02/08/2016 00:55

Yes- that's what's so wrong. And I'm afraid that if I couldn't trust someone in loco parentis to teach my child morals/model ethical behaviour then that would be a complete deal-breaker for me.

Oh god. I need to get some sleep. Nobody let anything happen to this thread overnight, k?!

I've followed all of both threads now and find this fascinating. As a Chester zoo member so pressumably local to you, I just wanted to suggest it may have been the 'museum of Liverpool' (not the World Museum). Last school holidays they had people dressed as Roman soldiers near the entrance who showed coins, helmets etc. I'm not sure if that has been on this holidays. I also agree it could be the Grovener in Chester, whichever you are closer to probably.

Also want to say that you can go through Chester zoo entrance (which is very recognisable with big sculptures of animals) and see the Elepjant exhibition inside and out and the main gift shop without paying to go in to the zoo. So if you wanted to take your son there just to double check you could do that without spending any money.

I hope you manage to find some emergency childcare OP. What a nightmare.

ItWentInMyEye · 02/08/2016 01:29

Not sure if its been mentioned before, but looking at ordering online it's usually referred to is as a 'child ticket' not a 'child's ticket' ....correct me if I'm wrong though, its pretty late Grin
