Always my choice Grin I'm a food control freak!

HealthtAtEverySize · 02/08/2016 20:51

About once a week we have a treat night maybe get an oven pizza (marks win no contest they have the best oven pizza) then about every 2 weeks we might get an indian or chinese.

honeybunny14 · 02/08/2016 20:54

Twice a month always dp and the dcs idea really try to avoid though as I put on weight over night with themConfused

Iwasbornin1993 · 02/08/2016 20:55

Once a week and probably eat out once a week too. Not really mine nor OH's decision as such for the takeaway - we have just gotten into a routine of having it on Saturdays.

asummersnight · 02/08/2016 21:05

Twice a week

littleprincesssara · 02/08/2016 21:31

A few times a year, mainly chips from the chippie walking home on a cold night!

Kiwiinkits · 02/08/2016 23:38

Around once a month, probably.

For the kids on Friday nights I quite often do a very simple dinner if I CBA. Like baked beans and a fried egg. They love it!

crapfatbanana · 03/08/2016 00:10

About once a month, roughly, usually around pay day. We have a great Thai takeaway that does the most delicious food. If I could afford it I'd eat food from there every night.

SurlyValentine · 03/08/2016 12:01

Once every two or three months. We seem to be eating out more than getting takeaways at the moment (once a fortnight or so). Our local Indian restaurant (which is awesome) also doubles as our takeaway, we have a decent Chinese over the road, but a better one five minutes' drive away, and KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Five Guys, and Nandos within 8 minutes' drive.

Ni58 where do you live where you can get enough Chinese for three or four adults for £10?!?!?! We order two starters, two mains, two portions of rice and share a bag of prawn crackers and there's not much change out of £20! There are usually some leftovers for us to have the following day, but we need to top it up with some supermarket spring rolls or something, otherwise it's not enough Sad

Where is the OP? Was this done for research purposes?

PageStillNotFound404 · 03/08/2016 12:08

Roughly once a fortnight, maybe slightly less frequently. Usually me who suggests it, now and again DH. Usually pizza, occasionally Chinese.

Am a bit Hmm at the pp who posted along the lines of "never, if I want someone else to make it I'll eat out so I can eat in nice surroundings" My house is "nice surroundings - do they live in a cowshed??

BitOutOfPractice · 03/08/2016 13:37

I'm genuinely surprised at the amount of people who have a take away once a week or more!

I'd say it's once every 6 weeks here. I do eat out a fair bit though

pinkie1982 · 03/08/2016 13:47

A curry every Saturday night and maybe fish & chips or a Chinese in between. Although these in between ones need to go. Costing far too much money and adding on weight!

lushcrew · 03/08/2016 13:53

About twice a year. We eat out about once a week, I like the buzz of people watching, getting out of the house and seeing the decor in a new restaurant (lots to choose from as we're in London). It's usually me who will suggest a takeaway, DH would usually prefer to eat out.
