Syrup of figs = wigs I heard it on only fools and horses, so did Gran and uses it all the time.
Will be back later I have ravenous dd and her bf to feed. I'm not letting them loose in my kitchen again, they managed to eliminate my best saucepan last time they cooked.

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 17:42

Yes - I think Boris's hair is real! As in, his own.

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 17:45

Ah, now that was informative, Portia! Hope your kitchen survives your daughter's culinary efforts. Grin

VanillaSugar · 02/08/2016 17:48

Oh yes - pots & pans disasters: my DD's boyfriend keeps using metal forks in my non stick frying pan so all the Tefal coating has come off. Tustin the bin,but at least he does the cooking (unlike her, the lazy Baggins.).

Sorry, missed out the "but" - as in Boris's barnet is real but Trump's so ain't.

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 17:55

Oh yes, he's a keeper, Vanilla! A man who does the cooking (like my husband.)

VanillaSugar · 02/08/2016 18:35

Not my cup of tea. Although I had a longstanding and passionate crush on Jeremy Paxman so who am I to judge?

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 18:43

That is a hilarious pic! Not real, obviously?

Mrs TP - I used to rather like Jeremy too...

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/08/2016 18:48

Oooo a fellow weirdo. I have a signed photo of him I got from eBay. I waited around because I was convinced someone else would try to swoop in and outbid me. No one did Grin

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 19:02

That's only because I didn't see it. Grin

VanillaSugar · 02/08/2016 19:27

I think Borus was very young at the time.

I once met Jeremy Paxman in Edinburgh.

So he actually posed like that? Grin. Not photoshopped or anything? That is hilarious! Well done for unearthing it!

Rrross1ges · 02/08/2016 20:02

What's he holding? Looks like a coffee and a roadkill squirrel.

Rrross1ges · 02/08/2016 20:03

Or Trump's wig

PortiaCastis · 02/08/2016 20:04

I'm rather busy at present.

VanillaSugar · 02/08/2016 20:06

He looks a bit cross Portia - what did you say to him??

OP posts:
PortiaCastis · 02/08/2016 20:08

Dd caught us !!!!!!

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/08/2016 20:10

That's a good question, Rrross1ges. Grin

Yeah, we know you're busy daydreaming, Portia. Grin

PortiaCastis · 02/08/2016 20:14

Yeah in my dreams Grin
Seriously though few problems with dd at the moment so need to sit down and chat when she's calmed down. Feeling a bit deflated so maybe back online later.

VanillaSugar · 02/08/2016 20:15

Did you say that Christmas has come early? And that Santa is inspecting your chimney to make sure that his special present fits down it?
