To think that Prince George isn't all that.

I mean, he's cute and all- as much as any of our three year olds undoubtedly are. But it pisses me off when everyone fawns over him because he's supposedly sooooooo delicious and gorgeous when, actually, if he was flicking garlic bread at you from the next table at pizza express, he'd be as uncharming as anyone else's kid in the same scenario.

Nothing against him personally- I'm sure he is great. Just not any more or less great than anyone else's pre schooler.

Sorry, but all your wide-eyed innocence doesn't wash with me op. You are a goady fucker and your attention seeking thread title is [I] think that prince george isn't all that.

Goady as hell.

A few demented royalists might pay him a bit of extra attention because they see his picture in the Daily Mail. 99.99% of the rest of the world thinks he's just as cute as any toddler.

Like I said, goady.

PinkyofPie · 23/07/2016 21:39

Aw I think he's super cute. Not as cute as my 3yo of course Grin

Aeroflotgirl · 23/07/2016 21:43

What you mean the media who fawns over him, well he is no ordinary 3 year old boy, he will one day be the future king of England. He is cute like any other 3 year old.

thisisafakename · 23/07/2016 21:52

And Id like to think that 30 years down the line again, George would be 'allowed' to mArry a black person, and if he was gay it would be perfectly acceptable. This may be wishful thinking but I do believe this to be the case

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah right. I am sure that would be okay with the royal family.

NoMudNoLotus · 23/07/2016 21:56

What a horrible thread.

He's a child.

hollyisalovelyname · 23/07/2016 21:57

William was much cuter as a child.
I can't figure out who George looks like

NoMudNoLotus · 23/07/2016 21:57

Yep post a pic of your kids OP & lets all make comments.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 23/07/2016 22:02

I'm not rude hot you are hiding behind the OP's view, voicing a thought but not saying why you think that.

You can say what you like of course, backing your statement up with why you agree with the OP just gives it some legs Smile.

The OP is ridiculous Smile

Branleuse · 23/07/2016 22:05

i cant stand the royal family, but thats got nothing to do with whether George is cute or not. Who cares. Its just a kid

WhooooAmI24601 · 23/07/2016 22:08

OP what a shitty thread title; regardless of your stance on the royals themselves, you're encouraging people to chat shit about a 3 year old. Which is the maddest thing I've seen in a long time.

As an aside I don't care much for royalty or celebs but think George is just deliciously cute. So YAB stupendously U.

LaurieMarlow · 23/07/2016 22:40

He is an averagely cute 3 year old. But people are weird about the royals and want to put him on a pedestal. I don't really get it.

alltouchedout · 23/07/2016 22:46

People are odd about the royals. I really don't get it.

sycamore54321 · 23/07/2016 22:53

I am not British and am fascinated by monarchy in a car-crash way. People are casually saying this (very cute) toddler is "our future king". Does that idea not freak anybody else out? There could be some terrible coincidence in the morning or in five years time wiping out the chain above him and this child could actually be your head of state. Before he can read or write or converse. He's barely a baby and yet he could instantly be the diplomatic equivalent of Francois Hollande or somebody. Yes, I know regencies etc while underage but he could still be king, before he goes to primary school. When you think about it, it all seems so far fetched that it can't be true.

So if you are willing to believe that he is your superior and could be your leader at age 3, then it probably isn't too far a leap to judge him on what you have seen of him, ie his cuteness.

Alisvolatpropiis · 23/07/2016 22:57

He is very cute. Sure I've seen cuter kids in the street but he still is.

Some babies/toddlers/children/adults aren't cute.

ailith · 23/07/2016 22:57

I don't think he is at all cute. He seems spoiled and the blond hair& brown eyes combination is odd.
Princess Charlotte, however, is very cute indeed.
Are we not allowed to be honest?

Alisvolatpropiis · 23/07/2016 23:01

Future king seems spoiled?

NO WAY! Grin

SenecaFalls · 23/07/2016 23:05

He will one day be the king of England.

Perhaps. But the really interesting question is whether he will be King of Scots.

I haven't even seen the pictures because I could not be less interested. I have no idea what Prince George looks like or whether he is cute or not. Although I agree it's weird to rate toddlers on their cuteness!

I get what the OP was trying to say, just think she worded it wrong.

And I'm wondering if thisisafakename would like to come round for tea since clearly she/he's inside my head! Wink

WellErrr · 23/07/2016 23:08

Post a pic of your child and let's see?

Yes, come on OP - let's all pass comment on whether YOUR child is 'all that.'

My point is more about the media who seem amazed every time they see him.

Well there aren't many pictures allowed of him, and he'll be the King one day. That is fairly noteworthy and worth an article or two, whatever your views of the royal family.

This is a really nasty thread. Inviting negative comments about someone's three year old child.

Urgh.

Generally in society? No, not if you're saying unkind things about the appearance of someone's three year old child.

But thankfully, most people already know that.

dudsville · 23/07/2016 23:14

Like all of them he's only ever shown clean and in fresh clothes and not upset. It just gives a limited notion of him but there's nothing wrong with that. I don't feel I need to see them in their full human complexity.
