I mean, he's cute and all- as much as any of our three year olds undoubtedly are. But it pisses me off when everyone fawns over him because he's supposedly sooooooo delicious and gorgeous when, actually, if he was flicking garlic bread at you from the next table at pizza express, he'd be as uncharming as anyone else's kid in the same scenario.

Nothing against him personally- I'm sure he is great. Just not any more or less great than anyone else's pre schooler.

I think his sister is a better bet for the next next next monarch iykwim.

Something about him makes me think he'll prefer the quiet life. He seems terrified / very cautious and timid mostly to me and as cute as a normal three year old is. Maybe he'll abdicate when it's his turn. Maybe the monarchy will be long gone by then and he can garden to his heart's content.

Charlotte looks like she'd eat the world for brekkie, and then toss the bowl.
I think she's has more fire in her belly for public life from my vast research on the daily fail IMO she really resembles the present queen.

He's a little boy first and foremost and to say a 3 year old isn't all that is awful. It's not his fault his picture's in the media. He is at the moment a cute toddler and I very much doubt he's aware of the life that's mapped out for him.

I hadn't noticed a massive amount of fawning, but I'm sure it does happen. I just don't look at it and don't watch it on television. It isn't compulsory.

Of course, no child will ever be as gorgeous as mine. That goes without saying! (And it's fairly common for people to say to me "Aren't your boys gorgeous!" Then look at me, then look at their father, then say "Hmmm!" so I'm assuming their gorgeousness is random and not inherited!))

By the same token, the Queen is just an old lady so what's all the fuss about?

I'm not a royalist either, he's a cute child, every mother has the cutest children, however he is the future king of the country and there is media interest and he takes a good photo.

It would be rather odd if they never ever released any pictures of him at all. If we're going to have a monarchy, people are obviously going to want to have a vague idea of what they look like just so that we can recognize them and see them as real people apart from anything else.

I don't find any small children cute, I'm afraid, and that includes this one! He has a look of the Middleton father, I think.

All 3yos are fab and cute, end of story. Toddlers are just hilarious, and they make you see the world in a different way.
Each and every one of them is, actually, "all that".

Aahahaha dont know if you meant it in this way but that comes across as super creepy and a bit sadistic! Future King, so pretty much no chance of a normal life, dictated to and criticised regardless what he does. Expectations left, right and centre. I mean just say George wants to grow up and be stage actor/bin man/doctor. Can you imagine if George fell in love with a black/poor/disreputable woman? No neither can I, because it would never be allowed to happen. Or what if he was gay? Id love to see two Kings on the throne just for the equality at the top but im pretty sure that the powers that be would have that stamped out.

Wiibble- Id say they are very modern royals. And Id like to think that 30 years down the line again, George would be 'allowed' to mArry a black person, and if he was gay it would be perfectly acceptable. This may be wishful thinking but I do believe this to be the case.
