I mean, he's cute and all- as much as any of our three year olds undoubtedly are. But it pisses me off when everyone fawns over him because he's supposedly sooooooo delicious and gorgeous when, actually, if he was flicking garlic bread at you from the next table at pizza express, he'd be as uncharming as anyone else's kid in the same scenario.

Nothing against him personally- I'm sure he is great. Just not any more or less great than anyone else's pre schooler.

Flicking garlic bread!! Loving it.

x2boys · 23/07/2016 23:38

And regarding the brown eyes ds2 has the most amazing brown eyes he has dh brown eyes brown eye s in my very irish family is unsual but there you go.

squoosh · 23/07/2016 23:38

I don't really understand all the people asking the OP to post a picture of her kids. If you're so aggrieved at her thread why do you then think it would be fair game to poke fun at her children? Because that's what it sounds like.

Lottielou7 · 23/07/2016 23:39

The op is not picking on a 3 year old. She's pointing out that only brainwashed sheep bow and scrape to the royal family. And she's right.

Alisvolatpropiis · 23/07/2016 23:41

Last

Dark hair and blue eyes are far from unusual in Wales, perhaps because it's a Celtic nation.

Growing up, blue eyes were by far the most common eye colour amongst my peers. It seems pretty average to me.

ailith · 23/07/2016 23:42

Yeo but the others are too dumb to get what the OP is trying to do. Jeez

thisisafakename · 23/07/2016 23:43

OP you're plain nasty, like a pp said lets see a picture of your 3 year old then we can see if they're 'all that

But if she did post a picture of her 3 yo, would you be horrible about that child as 'revenge'?

It's a stupid thread. Those of you saying he is special, he will be king etc. Do you really think it's fair that just because he was born into a rich family (by complete fluke), he is better than/more special than your children and that your children should bow/curtsy in his presence and he will rule your country? I just think that's an odd attitude to have. What has he done that's so deserving of that?
He is just a kid- no better, no worse than any other kid.

ailith · 23/07/2016 23:44

Yes... I mean.
Blush

thisisafakename · 23/07/2016 23:45

ailith also thinks the name Niamh is weird, thick as mince I tell you

Gawd, talk about willful ignorance. That's not what she said at all (on the other thread that has nothing to do with this thread)- she was talking about weird SPELLINGS of Niamh. Like Neave.

WankersHacksandThieves · 23/07/2016 23:46

I'm in Scotland, brown eyes are much more uncommon. Dark hair and blue eyes not unusual at all - my siblings and I all have blue eyes, 1 red head, 2 strawberry blonds, one almost black hair and 2 dark brown and one was blond then went dark brown. Dh has almost black hair and hazel eyes, DS1 has same hair and blue eyes, DS2 has slightly lighter hair and grey/green eyes.

ailith · 23/07/2016 23:46

Thanks thisisafakename. Dixie person knows that, though.Wink

IHateDoors · 23/07/2016 23:51

Jeez it's just someone else's kid. Enough with the sycophantic responses already. He's not reading it himself, nor are his family. I don't think Jill from Reading and Olivia from Leamington Spa need to get quite so defensive.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 23/07/2016 23:57

For the love of God. He's an innocent little baby. Yes granted will no cuter than any other child, but. He is after all a future king of course people are going to be amazed by him.

ailith · 24/07/2016 00:05

I'm not "amazed" by him. I'm not "amazed" by any of them.

yaaasqueen · 24/07/2016 00:06

Nah there are loads of unattractive toddlers in my town they're usually badly behaved too. Not all little kids are cute

VanillaSugar · 24/07/2016 00:08

Look you lot. You have ALL missed the point.

Mia Tindall. Now SHE is cute!!!!!!!!!!

ailith · 24/07/2016 00:09

Mia and the Queen's handbag! Excellent.

squoosh · 24/07/2016 00:10

Is Mia Tindall the one who mugged the Queen for her handbag? If so she looks like a bit of a potential rabble-rouser. I approve of that.

HooseRice · 24/07/2016 00:12

I don't agree with having a royal family in this day and age especially while we have record amounts of homeless and clients of food banks, however leave the child the fuck alone.

UnikittyInHerBusinessSuit · 24/07/2016 00:17

There's a lot of old ladies who will never be grandmothers for whatever reason (or have no contact with their biological GC). Some of them are absolutely fine with that, but some really aren't. I reckon Prince George is serving a valuable function as the Nation's Grandson.

Alisvolatpropiis · 24/07/2016 00:41

The Royal family, unelected figureheads, don't seem as unfathomable as the fact we have a Prime Minister nobody voted for.

Canyouforgiveher · 24/07/2016 00:54

Oh dear. Charming. I wouldn't rate the opinion of someone like you so do spare the indignation.

That's really funny. You call a 3 year old you only know from the Daily Mail
"spoiled" and I am the one out of line for calling you on it.

For what it is worth, I don't rate your opinion either - so spare the indignation ditto.

The obsession of the british - both positive and negative - with the royal family is beyond perplexing to anyone born outside the UK. Why on earth would a grown woman want to comment on a 3 year old, good bad or indifferent.

Canyouforgiveher · 24/07/2016 00:58

and also, alith, don't you yourself find it amusing that "we can be honest can't we?" only applies to your opinions?

Lottielou7 · 24/07/2016 05:19

I think people are deliberately misunderstanding the OP.

Have a look at yourselves - you think we have to fawn over unremarkable people, bankrolled by the tax payer, why? Because it's tradition? It's utterly ridiculous. I love all children, not just my own and it isn't George and Charlotte's fault that they were born into the royal family. But this fawning and acting like they are better than everyone (not just them the whole Royal family including Harry who, despite attending Eton couldn't even manage to scrape together a few decent A levels) just because of accident of birth is incredibly crass at a time when many disadvantaged, disabled people are on the receiving end of ideological cuts.

At least Brangelina are great actors both of them. So they do actually have undisputed talent and have got where they are because of it, not by default because they're related to the Queen.

WantToRunAgain · 24/07/2016 05:33

UniKitty, you're joking right? Please tell me you're joking.
