How can she sleep with him....

Mick Jagger is 72.. his girlfriend is 29. She is pregnant.

43 years younger than him.... is she in it for the cash or is it possible for her to actually fancy him?

I just don't believe it.

I think as you get older i'm sure you find your age group attractive. But at 29 would you find a 72 year old attractive? Yuck...

I'm 30 and have always been partial to an older man (although, ironically, my husband is two years younger). However I reckon if I was dating now, my upper limit would still be somewhere around 55 at the very oldest. And I think my upper limit is higher because I have an older Dad (he was 40 when I was born). My friends with younger fathers always say that they couldn't go out with anyone older than their Dad and most of those Dads are only 20 or 25 years older than them.

Gosh there's nothing so attractive as a big wallet!
Dh and I (both in our early 60's) were discussing this the other day and we both said we would be too embarrassed to show off our ageing bodies to a much younger lover.
DH reckons she keeps her eyes shut/does it in the dark/ lies back and thinks of the royalties.
He also wondered whether his heart could take the strain of sex with a 29 year old? (and at that that implies)! Shock

well, squoosh, taking into account 18 years of maintenance, it's rather a lot of money to enjoy a beautiful young woman's body! And he is known for his madness with money.

My husband is older than me by 19 years, which to many is Hmm worthy.

I'm surprised that a 43 year age gap is considered fine and dandy! That's like one of my husbands friends eventually dating our currently one year old daughter.

Do you not think that it's nature that make us not want to sleep with much older people and patriarchy that says it's ok for men to do so. The feeling of disgust/repulsion is the same kind of discomfort we feel when siblings or relations mate.

I honestly don't get the 'if he were a bus driver she wouldn't fancy him' comments. We fancy people for all kinds of reasons. MJ is very charismatic, physically fit, with an incredibly exciting life and tons of brilliant stories to tell. I totally get why someone would find him attractive. One 72 year old can be very different from another!!

I've still got a huge crush on someone who's 78. He's the most interesting, intelligent and compelling person I know.

Whilst I could never shag a 72 yr old, I'm not going to judge her. She may well fancy him. My friend is married to a man nearly 30yrs older than her, she definitely fancies him. They are a great couple and it just works. She has always seemed older than she is and has never dated anyone close to her own age, always gone for significantly older men. Each to their own.

"Jagger is famous for being tighter than a duck's arsehole." but it's all subjective isn't it? Tight when you're only bringing in £25k a year is most likely vastly different when you have £50m to be "tight" with.

I imagine that Gerry Hall's definition of tight and mine differ vastly, on account of the fact we move in totally different financial zones. Grin.

From what I have read, Melanie Hamrick is an independent young woman and accomplished ballerina. She and Mick don't live together and it doesn't look like they are going to.
They have been 'together' for two years.
Mick isn't your average 72 year old, he is very fit and apparently very intelligent and charismatic. Maybe that is why Melanie finds him attractive?
I have never thought he is particularly attractive but I do find him fascinating. Melanie obviously finds him attractive. She doesn't come across as a gold digger.

I'm 62 and I wouldn't sleep with him, I wouldn't have slept with him 40 years ago. I don't suppose he will lose any sleep over it. If they are happy then good luck to them.

Charisma has a lot to answer for. I have a huge crush on Steve Tyler and am a similar age to Mick's girlfriend.

Equally, it's not a fame thing, sometimes you can be overwhelmingly attracted to someone's personality, and age is merely a consideration. I have found people in the work setting who are much older but very attractive for similar reasons.

It's not a conventional set up but somehow I don't think this baby needs ill wishes or sympathy from anyone.

I am 29 and no way! He's not just an older man, he is a OLD man! Gross. But each to their own, I guess it's similar to a fetish? Her fetish must me wrinkly old man (with lots of cashWink hehe)
