How can she sleep with him....

Mick Jagger is 72.. his girlfriend is 29. She is pregnant.

43 years younger than him.... is she in it for the cash or is it possible for her to actually fancy him?

I just don't believe it.

I think as you get older i'm sure you find your age group attractive. But at 29 would you find a 72 year old attractive? Yuck...

I honestly think that when the world is mourning another terrorist attack In France, with a huge number of deaths, criticising a couple for choosing to have a baby when the father is much older than the mother, is maybe focusing on a trivial aspect of other people's behaviour.

Polly, without meaning to be insensitive, suspending all trivial aspects of life in order to focus on an act of terrorism is precisely what terrorists want. People are allowed to continue with their own lives in the aftermath. And we should...ceasing all light hearted conversation and debate is a poor tribute to the victims.

Nelleflowerpot · 15/07/2016 11:53

He is rich and famous that is the attraction. She has his child and she and the child are set up for life.
Personally I wouldn't go near him but I married for love.

JanetStWalker · 15/07/2016 11:55

Jagger, no.
Keith Richards, hell yes.

Jerry Hall - Rupert Mudoch age difference = 25 years
Joan and Percy Age difference = 32 years
Mick and his wife age diff = 43 years!!!!!!!

Come of people. Please do not tell me if he was an unknown retiree, albeit one who had had an interesting life, that any 29 year old woman would want a baby with him.

Enkopkaffetak · 15/07/2016 11:56

When I was 20 I dated a 63 year old for about 6 months. Yes I fancied him he was blinking gorgeous. We stopped dating due to wishing different things (I wanted children one day He was hoping for grandchildren soon)

However it is utterly possible she does fancy him. Jerry Hall must have once too. I dont fancy Mick Jagger or Rupert Murdoch I have to say however she must do.

Applejack29 · 15/07/2016 12:01

Roger Daltry is 72. I'm 25. I would do him.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 15/07/2016 12:05

Hmm I must admit there's something about Jack Nicholson that does it for me.

PollyPerky · 15/07/2016 12:06

redhare I have seen a number of friends and acquaintances die young-ish and leave behind children in their early teens. None of us know how long we will be around to be with our children.

And you are ignoring the fact that a huge number of children have no contact with one parent (usually the dad) who is alive owing to divorce or short term relationships.

Stop telling people how to live their lives.

auldspinster · 15/07/2016 12:08

I have a bit of a pash for 67 year old John Foxx (who has aged more gracefully than Jagger) as detailed on another mn thread but i'm 41 and certainly wouldn't want to have his babies.

RedHareWithBlondeHair · 15/07/2016 12:11

polly yes, but you can't use the fact that none of us has a crystal ball that sees into the future to make a case against irresponsible family planning. I am not the arbiter of who can and can't have children but I patently refuse to think that anyone having a child in their 70s is behaving responsibly.

wowfudge · 15/07/2016 12:11

Money and fame are strong aphrodisiacs. Maybe they are in love.

ProfessorBranestawm · 15/07/2016 12:11

Never found MJ attractive even in his youth. Just no.

My DH is 18 years older than me. So in theory I don't have an issue with age gaps generally.

Isn't there more of a risk with sperm from a 72yo though? I know it's not as much of a factor as maternal age, but I thought there was still degeneration with male age.

LovePGtipsMonkey · 15/07/2016 12:17

it's hell of a lot easier to fancy Mick (especially if you have his younger image in your head) than Rupert Murdoch (yuk yuk yuk) - no idea how a still beautiful Jerry can do it, even though Rupert is a reliable and prob kind partner after Mick.

DailyMailEthicalFail · 15/07/2016 12:17

"So, what first attracted you to the Millionaire mick jagger???"

last time I saw him (admittedly across a bar type situation) he was about as attractive as a small tortoise. And that was 20 years ago!

LovePGtipsMonkey · 15/07/2016 12:18

having heard of this for the 1st time, who is this GF? is she is show biz/music, any info about her?

Headofthehive55 · 15/07/2016 12:18

I wonder if she gets any satisfaction?

DailyMailEthicalFail · 15/07/2016 12:19

sorry Mischa I see you beat me to it! Grin

LovePGtipsMonkey · 15/07/2016 12:21

I though Mick was attractive 15yrs ago - saw him in a hotel, very fresh for his age, and I thought he was very sexy when younger (along with miliions of other women) but now it's gone severely downhill - far too wrinkly!

SoThisIsSummer · 15/07/2016 12:22

I always find comments like this odd when if I wrote something like " man with disfigured face isn't he awful how can this young lady sleep with him" I would be rightly pilloried.

Maybe she finds him incredibly interesting, I bet he knows a thing or two in bed ( understatement) and she enjoys his company, as well as fancy him.

I also bet he is a lot fitter psychically than many men of her own age.

trafalgargal · 15/07/2016 12:26

I too have heard from people who have met Mick that he has incredible charisma. If this woman is looking for a father for her child who will support the child in a generous financial manner regardless of if he or their relationship survives for very long then she's made a good choice. He's always included all his children in his life even after splitting with their mothers and looked after them financially (not so much the mothers).

If my daughter got pregnant by MJ it probably wouldn't be as dreadful as her getting pregnant by someone her own age whose greatest ambition was to claim JSA and get stoned everyday for the rest of their lives..taking a pragmatic view. Neither would be ideal but of the two ....a wealthy , charismatic man with a track record of fulfilling their parental responsibilities versus a waste of space , age isn't the only consideration.

LovePGtipsMonkey · 15/07/2016 12:27

he is extremely fit, yes, he exercises like mad daily according to his daughter - but the old saggy skin - sorry but too much for a young 29yo to merge with!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 15/07/2016 12:27

But does she make a grown man cry? Grin

MachiKoro · 15/07/2016 12:27

People are all attracted to different things.

Harrison Ford is also early 70s. Wink

FirstofherName · 15/07/2016 12:28

I also bet he is a lot fitter psychically than many men of her own age.

He certainly has more energy than your average seventysomthing, judging from the way he jumps about on stage. I imagine he's also very charismatic with loads of interesting anecdotes. I probably still would.

Whether he's better at reading minds than other men his age remains to be seen...

IceRoadDucker · 15/07/2016 12:30

Not Mick Jagger but yes, I could sleep with a man around that age if I loved him. Not that I think love is the motivation for many of these May/December celebrity marriages...
