If a general election is called would you vote Lib Dem to stay in the EU?

If there is a general election the Lib Dems have stated they will run on a platform to keep the UK in the EU if they win. The Tories obviously won't do that and the Labour party can't really run on that platform I don't think since so many Labour voters voted to leave. I'm curious if the Lib Dems would attract a lot of support since they would effectively be turning the general election into a second referendum.

Seek, I'm not sure Farron would ever go for a Tory coalition. And I think the Lib Dems have learned from their catastrophic 2015 election strategy, and are unlikely to paint themselves as the kingmaker/we'll prop up the other guys if they get more votes party.

I've nearly always voted LibDem and joined the party yesterday. I wrote to Nick Clegg and had a response. Still waiting for Farron! My MP Chuka Umunna is also strongly Remain.

Chuka will get in again here, but as a committed Europhile I really hope the Lib Dens provide leadership in a political vacuum. Other than being pro Remain, they are the only party not in meltdown

Yes I would. But it's not going to happen. May is most likely to win the Tory leadership election and I read somewhere that even though she's pro-remain she's said brexit means brexit and there won't be an early general election.

No. I really hope there is no early general election. What we need as s country is a new leader asap ( now likely to be May) Jezza to get a grip and move aside. Then we need to negotiate the best deal possible Look to develop trade with the wider world and get some certainty back.
