She says ' would there have to be a legislative consent motion' (i.e. a motion accepting UK legislation in a devolved area to be valid in Scotland). The answer is no, as foreign relations are not devolved.

She has no power to stop Article 50 being invoked. Once that is invoked, the UK will leave the EU.

There is very plainly, no 'veto'.

What Paragraph 70 is discussing is the primacy of EU law in Scotland. Although that is an issue in relation to Brexit, it does not mean that Scotland can refuse to withdraw from the EU.

The consent that is being referred to is consent to amend the Scotland Act 1998. It is not consent to leave the EU.

OMG the European Convention on Human Rights is not part of the EU, but the Council of Europe. Theta is a completely different thing and pre-dates the EU.
