If Remain wins, for years to come, whenever something goes wrong, be it lack of housing, overcrowding, not enough school places, cuts in social benefits, lack of work, etc etc etc,
People will get told:

You had your chance, a once in a lifetime chance to change things and gain back control. So don't go complaining now that things have eventually gone tits up.

That's going to happen. Isn't it? Hmm

you read it here first

Ok thanks I will watch now.
I know that a lot of members of the EU work hard here. We have an Italian nurse who works on our ward who is lovely and very committed, in fact our dept have about 8, our hospital trust have a large amount of Italian nurses. A lot of our staffing is from the EU.
I haven't an issue with this at all, just when we have to close depts because we have no money, when treatment is refused due to no money, etc.
I'm trying not to be ignorant about these things but it's all a learning curve.

I'm so pleased the referendum is today, so it's over. I'm well aware it will rumble on regardless of results. The politicians can get back to their jobs (whose been paying for them titting about campaigning) and life goes on, but without the constant news of no news.

timetobackout
lovely cut 'n' paste from here:
thescepticisle.com/2016/06/22/remain-for-technocracy-leave-for-democracy/

Why not just share your own views?

Ifailed · 23/06/2016 18:44

I see timetobackout has removed their post, so I have asked MM to do the same for mine.

emeraldlakes · 23/06/2016 18:54

It doesn't matter which wins. Leave or Remain. Some will use future events to insist people should have voted the other way regardless.

HoneyDragon · 23/06/2016 18:59

Oh good, a thread to argue about we'll be arguing about tomorrow Grin

So looking forward to the mass exodus of the politroll tomorrow (or even tonight).

Obvs don't necessarily mean anyone on this thread.

Smile

Mind you, I've been quite fond of some of them.

smallfox1980 · 23/06/2016 21:59

Do you think it will all stop? I think some people will have to find a new hobby. Claig is entertaining though.

thecatfromjapan · 23/06/2016 22:14

Grin @ small fox

I wonder if some will have been seduced permanently to mumsnet.

thecatfromjapan · 23/06/2016 22:14

Claig's a total mumsnetter.

thecatfromjapan · 23/06/2016 22:15

A fixture.

smallfox1980 · 23/06/2016 22:26

I think I've replaced cigarettes with mumsnet, typing is something to do with my hands.

ThisCakeFilledIsle · 23/06/2016 22:41

Keep going smallfox, it's worth it!

HoneyDragon · 23/06/2016 22:52

Claig isn't a politicotroll any more. Claig is an institution.
