To think it's grim and lazy to piss in the shower

Inspired by another thread but not a TAAT.

I'm surprised how many people think it's OK and actually do it themselves.

I've done it before (mostly whilst heavily pregnant) but always go before I get in the shower so don't see the need to do it in the shower?!

Of course it fine. Goes straight down the plughole. If you've got kids, they're all wee-ing in the bath anyway! Flushing gallons of perfectly good water through the toilet when it's not necessary is the mad option, imo.

I tip the contents of my bucket after mopping the floors down the bath plughole (more room, less mess that kitchen sink) and that's WAY worse than some wee...

Oh yes actually I think I can, I seem to spend a good part of life breaking my neck to have a pee and am always so relieved to get to the loo I think it may have made me extra averse to being happy about wee running down my legs under any circumstances... That's all I can come up with

I'm actually a little that people would admit to peeing in the bath...and then remain in the bath too. That's seriously gross. Same as peeing in the pool. You pee in my pool, you're not coming round again. Ewwww.

No, squoosh, I'm with Guac. If anyone peed in my trout lake or even the river running through my estate, I'd be incandescent. And I mean that literally.

Loads of Team Pee-In-The-Shower here have expressed surprise that anyone would get out of the shower to pee 'with a wet bum' etc, as if this is the only alternative to having a sneaky mid-shower piss. Is bladder control really so abysmal that anyone would actually have to interrupt a shower to pee, rather than waiting til they were finished (or going beforehand)? Even when heavily pregnant I could go a couple of hours without emptying my bladder

Just don't flush after every wee - I flush every 3rd wee or so and bet I save loads more water than you who piss in the shower.*

How about, some of us pee in the shower (because if we pee in the loo, flush, then shower, there isn't enough water for the shower cos we have low water pressure) and we only flush the loo after three wees? The two are not mutually exclusive and we do more than one wee a day. I don't purposely jump in the shower every time I need a wee.

I used to work in labs and tested wee, it got all over my hands many times. It made them lovely and soft! (Of course I'd wash my hands after spillages).

Also while I was in labor I jumped in the shower because I was feeling rubbish, when suddenly I needed to pee, and vomit, and had unexpected very liquid diarrhea. All at the same time. Wouldn't possibly have gotten out if I wanted to! I pee in the shower every time I shower, never gotten ill from it, neither has my family.

I own a toilet brush
I like long baths (as long as they don't contain urine)
Wash towels/sheets/pyjamas once a week
Wear knickers in bed

It has never occurred to me to pee in the shower in the over four decades' worth of showering

I'm totally weirded out at the idea of taking a tampon out specifically to shower though

Yanbu. It wouldn't occur to me to pee in the shower, that's what a loo is for. Pee first then shower.

When I saw this on Facebook "the shower habit that's dividing us" I thought it was about Power shower masturbating.

This totally astounds me. I've read about 2/3 of the full thread and can't believe how many of you piss in the shower. It's never occurred to me. Pissing is for the loo, not where others are washing. So YANBU OP (prob long gone). It grosses me out to think people piss where I wash.

But now I know it's normal maybe I should start trying to squeeze one out. Tbh, other than post baby I don't see how the urge suddenly comes upon you that you can't use the loo. That's why society is at the advanced point that we have loos and don't need to piss where others wash/in the street/out the window etc
