To think it's grim and lazy to piss in the shower

Inspired by another thread but not a TAAT.

I'm surprised how many people think it's OK and actually do it themselves.

OP posts:

I have never done it myself it has never occurred to me

Now I feel I ought to Grin

LuluJakey1 · 07/06/2016 21:16

Weeing in shower is fine- washed straight down the plughole
Surely no one would poo in the shower Shock

Myusernameismyusername · 07/06/2016 21:16

I do my towels about once every 5 days I think.

Sheets for kids once a week.
Me.... Not every week. I'm single so and just sleep on the other side and turn the duvet round? Unless it's been very hot or time of the month. Or I've eaten food in the bed

WhereIsMyPlaydough · 07/06/2016 21:18

Oh dear. I'm grim and lazy then, who cares!
Drain from the shower joins drain from toilet, did you know? Wink

Myusernameismyusername · 07/06/2016 21:21

My shower could not handle shit. Fact

PirateFairy45 · 07/06/2016 21:22

I pee in a shower.

Wouldn't pee in a bath.

OptimisticSix · 07/06/2016 21:22

YABU saves water and sitting on a toilet seat with a wet bum is horrible :) agree with LaurieFairyCake too :)

BennyTheBall · 07/06/2016 21:28

I piss in the shower when we go camping once a year for 2 nights.

It's because (despite being a naice campsite, full of Boden and children called Kit and Amelie, the toilets give me conniptions as they always have big shits sitting in the bottom and they render me unable to go).

I can't really see a problem. It's probably a bit cleaner as its all washed away from one's body, rather than wiped.

Breadandwine · 08/06/2016 02:23

DH always says there are 2 types of people in the world.
People who piss in the shower, and Liars!

Reminds me of my favourite joke:
There are only 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary, and those who don't. Wink

gingerboy1912 · 08/06/2016 07:16

As women, we are often denied the freedom of standing tall and proud and letting the wee run free the shower can be a rare indulgence!

Urine is not sterile

Whisky2014 · 08/06/2016 08:26

Whisky2014 · 08/06/2016 08:32

"Won't the tampon just absorb all the shower water and be rendered full? "

Well, surely only if you shower standing on your head.......

Pollyputhtekettleon · 08/06/2016 09:28

Of course the tampon won't get full of water😳. Unless you plan to shove a the shower head in too....

Myusernameismyusername · 08/06/2016 09:28

? How does the tampon get wet in a shower?

Also have you never been swimming with one in?

AppleSetsSail · 08/06/2016 09:32

I am shocked to learn that people leave tampons in I whilst showering.

It's far from ideal but if the tampon is too new, it hurts mightily to remove it (TMI).

Whisky2014 · 08/06/2016 09:34

I am shocked too boiled. Surely the shower is to clean yourself, all of yourself not plug yourself up with blood :s

00100001 · 08/06/2016 09:39

Why would the tampon absorb the water? Confused it's right inside you and the water doesn't get up there, which is why you wear them when swimming.

00100001 · 08/06/2016 09:41

But no-one, surely cleans the inside of their bits? Surely? You don't need too. It's self-cleaning! So you're not plugging yourself up with blood. it's just the outside bits you need to wash.

FankEweVeryMuch · 08/06/2016 09:44

I changed my mind on this after a mumsnet thread a few years ago.

I used to be in the 'yuck' camp but I actually do it now. It's fine, boring bad has happened and I'm savinng the environment.

Whisky2014 · 08/06/2016 09:46

I have douched some water up there, not every time but it does totally clean it out and don't have to wear a tampon or pad for a while!

I generally just wash all of the outside though, I just think a tampon string etc would get in the way and also just feel I am not stripped back to "bare" for going for a shower. Why have a tampon in if you are in the shower. It just doesn't make sense to me.

UptownFunk00 · 08/06/2016 09:47

I do it.

It hurts no one.
