To think it's grim and lazy to piss in the shower

Inspired by another thread but not a TAAT.

I'm surprised how many people think it's OK and actually do it themselves.

"pissing over yourself" - yes because the pee is going to stick while the shower is running, it has that glue-like waterproof quality that stops it being washed off.... oh wait, no it doesn't. It just washes straight off.

I find it far more "fucking grim" to not flush the loo every time - gross! I don't give a stuff about this whole "let it mellow" concept - have you seen the flotsam on top of it? Urgh. And it stinks if left.

As for the tampon comment - what the fuck are you doing with the shower head?! You're not supposed to aim water up your vag, you know, it's not the most hygienic thing to do. See?

No big deal. It will wash down the plughole. It doesn't contain anything that's not water soluble so will rinse off leaving no trace.

But no-one, surely cleans the inside of their bits? Surely? You don't need too. It's self-cleaning! So you're not plugging yourself up with blood. it's just the outside bits you need to wash.

I absolutely clean my bits, vigorously! I've never had a cleaning-related injury or infection. I don't buy this 'it's self-cleaning' business. That said, I cannot bear to pull a dry tampon out so I clean around it if need be.

Yes. Leaving pee in the toilet is so gross. It absolutely stinks.

I genuinely have never peed in the shower. Or wanted to. It feels totally alien to me. I hadn't realised I was in a minority Shock

So leaving pee for an hour (lid shut, toilet is in a separate room) is disgusting but pissing in the shower is completely fine?

Only if you are dehydrated. If you drink 2-3 litres a day as I do it doesn't smell at all. I really noticed the smell of wee when I was pregnant. I remember going into the ladies loos at work and all I could smell was wee. It was horrible and I just wanted to scream "please drink more!"

I wee in the shower, as someone said it's very comfortable to stand up. I don't wear tampons either - at any time - other than if I am swimming at a heavy time of the month.

As pp have mentioned hotels, it's reminded me of the time myself and my partner were staying in one for the night. We put a bag of ice in the bin to cool drinks, got drunk, messed around which entailed shoving ice cubes in our mouth.... The next morning I looked into the bin and saw dry, crusty vomit around the edges. I was nearly sick at what we had ingested the night before, not to mention all the condoms and other gross stuff that had probably been in there previously.

THAT'S gross, peeing in the shower is not, in the grand scheme of things love it

If your pee stinks and you have flotsam then I suggest you either drink more water or see a doctor (or perhaps both). I flush fmu because it's dark but most of my urine in day is light and I can't smell it because I stay well hydrated. DP gets up in the night to pee old man and he leaves it with the lid down so as not to disturb me with the flush but it doesn't stink in the morning when I go in to the bathroom.

I have a dump in the shower sometimes.

Of course I don't. That actually would be rank. Taking a slash in the shower tho. Nah, don't be daft, saves time, water and is quite pleasurable.

Also brush my teeth in the shower. Again, not gross.

Some of you are such princesses I wonder how you cope with breathing the same air as some of us scumbags Hmm

No no no have never had the urge to wee in the shower & I find idea of it gross. no idea why. I'd brush my teeth in the shower if I rem to bring in brush n paste. I go for wild wees when out hiking / running. but I always hop on the toilet before having a shower even when pregnant I still wouldn't want to go again so soon. maybe if I was desparate I'd do it but think I'd just hold it til after!

I don't know why so many people find it gross, if anything it is much cleaner. You are completely cleaned with soap and water afters rather than wiping with dry toilet paper (think of how different your hands would be if you dried clear apple juice off them with a paper towel vs washed your hands with soap and water and dried them... there would still be a residue with paper towel, right?) Ditto shower, instead of rinsing the toilet bowl with cold water (or worse leave it to fester), you rinse with soap and water so cleaner.

I blow my nose in the shower too. My hand then gets cleaned with soap and water unlike when I use a tissue. Sounds gross, actually much cleaner.

Some people wear tampons in the shower because their flow is heavy and it literally just pours down their legs. Which is gross.

On the teeth brushing thing, DH cleans his while standing at loo peeing. That is gross. I have no problem with peeing in shower.

I could see ^^ that going wrong. Kind of like trying to rub your belly and pat your head simultaneously. Except with higher (and wetter) stakes.

I think it's weird that anyone gives the slightest shit what other people do on their own, in their own private spaces not harming anyone.

Do you comment on how people have a shit? Or their arse wiping techniques? How about how they wash their arses in the shower?

Does it offend you if they don't do it the same way that you do?

Yep I do. Not just at home but in the shower at the gym and the swimming pool. Not in the pool but the shower at the pool. Just goes straight into the plughole

Whilst it's not something I do - I don't have an issue with it.
However; peeing in the bath water is gross! It may be sterile but urine smells!!!!
