This is the letter left on DP's van yesterday. We live at 215, attached to 213, then there's a road and then 211 where note writer lives.

I'm having to sit on my hands so I don't write a response. AIBU to think this is a bit passive aggressive or AIBU to park van there?

[Message from MNHQ: We've had to remove the attached letter as it was a bit too identiyfing. We realise the rest of the thread will make little sense now to anyone new to the thread, but we're leaving it up so the OP can continue to discuss with those already on board].

I'm not explaining myself over and over. Sometimes it's not possible to park on the drive

ScrewyMcScrewup · 06/06/2016 19:29

It is possible, just not convenient.

Querty12345 · 06/06/2016 19:44

Kinky did u get my pm?

AugustaFinkNottle · 06/06/2016 20:00

The only circumstances when it would be impossible to park in the drive would be where the car in front has broken down, or it's needed for disabled visitors. How often does that happen for several hours at a time?

KinkyAfro · 06/06/2016 20:24

It's none of your business why it's just not possible sometimes to park on the drive, you don't know my family's circumstances and I'm not discussing them on here. Not sure why you're so het up about it, Augusta but I suggest you chill out a bit

I did Querty, just replied

I love a MN parking thread.

This one has been particularly spectacular.

KinkyAfro · 06/06/2016 21:15

It certainly has been smalllegs, very entertaining. And to think I was accused of making it up

A parking thread is a guilty pleasure, a bit like the DM comments section Grin

RandomMess · 06/06/2016 21:28

The note writing neighbour is going to have a hissy fit when someone else lives in the street who uses that spot who will merely do it deliberately because she's pissed the off!

KinkyAfro · 06/06/2016 21:30

I know Random, if it's not us then it will be someone else. There's an Iceland van parked down there now, no idea where that's come from

Sure you're not just booking in loads of deliveries OP?Wink

SilverBirchWithout · 06/06/2016 23:55

This thread certainly had everything!

A photo with a note 'accidently' revealing an address.

Class war undercurrents.

New 'friends' being made with PM's between puppets.

Poster asking whether being unreasonable but arguing when getting responses they didn't agree with.

I just love the anger and tension on parking threads!

KinkyAfro · 07/06/2016 04:37

And not forgetting the goady fuckers, yes, it certainly had it all
