I think it is brilliant. OP your DC has obviously thought about every single piece of the drawing, what to outline, how to do the hair/eyes/fingers, what colour works best where. I think it is AWESOME.

It's really good hurryup - you should both be very proud!

I work with 6 year olds, and some of them would struggle to colour in that neatly, never mind draw it to start with.

I think it's pretty good - my daughter also thinks she's rubbish at art because the vision in her head doesn't match up to what's on paper and it frustrates her - but she's pretty good when she makes the effort.

For comparison purposes, here is my 6 year old's very best effort. This is the best drawing she's ever done. We're not holding out much hope for her

This is my 6 years olds Picasso interpretation. The school framed the pictures in cheap nasty frames and charged parents £8 for them. They saw us coming we all bought them.

Writer I was in sainsburys earlier and they had a boys Peppa Pig t-shirt. My DS also has a couple of "George" tops from Boots.

This is the only pic my Precious Seventh Born has probably ever done, so its v precious to me. I look just like that. I think he was about 7.

Here's a copy of a Picasso my cat did this weekend. We're gutted and think it's shit, we asked him to copy a Dali.

This is a picture of an elephant my ds drew when he was 3 😂...I've put it in his photo album because it's just so damn cute! He was very proud of himself when he drew it aswell 😂😂😂
