I was so cross with another car owner today I shoved a bag of dog poo in his car grille

I probably was bu but it was heat of the moment and it's not like ive damaged his car. It was just gently placed in the plastic fan blade type thing, could be easily pulled out.

He had parked right behind me so that I couldn't open my boot, he was touching my tow bar. Normally I would hang the poo bag on the tow bar till I get home but I couldn't reach it. Couldn't get the dog in the boot. More importantly I couldn't reverse out the space like I was planning to and had to go forwards over a 45degree slope/bank and was worried for a minute the car was going to topple over.

I hope it made his car smell of poo on the way home!

*dog in boot is fine

pigeonpoo · 21/03/2016 07:54

Ah right.

Yes I was imagining dog in boot with parcel shelf down, I just wasn't very confident in your consideration of others feelings after you'd tied a bag of shit to someone else's car

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 21/03/2016 08:22

Right, have been busy this morning. Here are some more photos. One of a pinecone in a poo bag pretending to be some poo. One of my car boot.

I'm going down the same road today and will go past the specific parking space. Will try and lean out the window and take a photo if safe to do so.

Rofl at Pretend Poo Pine Cone.

SoupDragon · 21/03/2016 08:29

Not sure about the dickybag. It's still carrying shit around close to you.

What do you normally do with the poo bags on a walk then?

I have a Dickybag. It does a sterling job of keeping the bags out of sight and (mostly) smell. Just tip the bags in the dustbin at the end of the walk or whenever you find a dog bin.

If you don't want someone parked up your arse, park so that they cant (ie don't pull right forward in the single space or reverse into it leaving a gap.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 21/03/2016 08:38

I reeeeally love this thread

OP you live in a beautiful part of the world and your dog is dead lucky to have somewhere so nice to run about in

(OH was walking our-urban- dogs through the park this morning and saw a bloke ahead of him having a shit right in the middle of the path )

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 21/03/2016 08:42

I did have a friend whose dog pooped before setting off for a walk, she bagged it and put it on her tow bar intending to dispose of it when she returned. After walking the dogs she came back to find 3 more bags hanging from her tow bar!

LOL

you gotta love the Great British Public

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 21/03/2016 08:42

Well Musddah it's funny you say that because yesterday halfway up a mountain in the middle of nowhere was a huge human poo in the middle of the path. Accompanied by a load of shitty loo paper also in the middle of the path!

Well I guess the story has a happy ending. Slowed down to photo the parking space and the bag of poo was in the middle of the space. So I jumped out and got it. So guess he saw it and pulled it out. So no damage to the car and no long term littering. I promise not to do it again.

I love the CSI style reconstruction of the poo bag.

And a happy ending too.
An excellent thread.
💯

Or even sat it on the back seat until you reached a safe place

YourBubzYourRulzHun · 21/03/2016 16:38

puckymup I have 2 big raw fed dogs and I was undecided which size Dickybag to buy. Maybe I only need a small one after all. Their poos really are little nuggets aren't they Grin

shadowfax07 · 21/03/2016 16:43

what if the bag flew off, hit someone's windscreen and caused them to crash?

Aldi's poo bags are good for speeds up to 80mph, on the odd occasion I've had to hang one off the rear windscreen wiper. (We'd been visiting Leigh Woods in Bristol to meet up with friends and there are no bins there. I declined to flick anything into the undergrowth, I'd probably have ended up with a face full.)

HTH

MyKingdomForBrie · 21/03/2016 16:47

OP, YANBU. No idea what damage anyone thinks a bag of Poo could do sitting inside a plastic fitting on the outside of a car. Ridiculous overreaction.

As for people saying she should park so that no one else can, the guy had parked at right angles behind her car so close to her that she couldn't reach her own tow bar. To park in order to avoid that kind of fool you'd have to imagine someone could be so stupid in the first place. Presumably OP didn't think a car would park in half a car's space..

ElaineVintage · 21/03/2016 16:52

I don't think you were unreasonable.

Bet it felt good Grin

MamaLazarou · 21/03/2016 17:01

Just googled Dickybag.

I have never felt so glad to be a cat person.

Janecc · 21/03/2016 17:02

Ha ha ha. Bit extreme. Something I would want to do and resist the urge. No towbar so I secure bag to the windscreen wiper then offload at the nearest poo bin. It's that urge to want to teach someone a lesson isn't it? However, I've now come to the conclusion trying to do that is a lost cause.

shadowfax07 · 21/03/2016 17:03

Simon, I've just seen your photos and realised we have the same dog leads. Nice, aren't they? I love the D ring on the handle too.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 21/03/2016 17:11

Lead is fab. Dog has a matching harness as well.

YABU Could have been a learner driver, you know - these kind of things aren't always intentional. If you did this to me and caused any damage whatsoever to my car I would fucking flip

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 21/03/2016 17:21

Well if it was a leaner driver they'd forgotten their L plates.

I don't see how parking at a right angle to the road, with his arse in the road, right against my car could be anything other than intentional. Couldn't have been parked like that by accident.

I wouldn't have done anything which could have damaged the car.

OP posts:
HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 21/03/2016 17:25

Wait so you think this driver was deliberately out to get you?

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 21/03/2016 17:35

Of course I don't think he was out to get me. I think he (or she) made a deliberate decision to park inconsideratly rather than drive further along the road and find a bigger space.

I love this thread. I started off thinking the OP was a little U but with all the diagrams and photos and returning to the thread despite all the pearl clutching over poo bags on tow bars, I think I'm a little bit in love with her now.
