A couple I know who think they're the dogs gonads have just bought the ugliest house.

Many of you will say I'm lame and need to get a life. But this has put me in quite a good mood!

That is all.

Ha ha, strangest thread ever. Op you're crazy!

thisismypassword · 19/02/2016 17:15

Paul. Do you live in a house like that then?

Like many do not 'get me', I cannot get how you all think that house is attractive. So we shall agree to disagree and thank goodness there are many styles of house in this country.

How about a nice pussy cat Pike?

PaulAnkaTheDog · 19/02/2016 17:17

I've already told you what kind of house I live in. It's pretty gorgeous.

I think I may have to leave my own thread now. Thanks for lowering the tone Paul. You sound fab, keep up the hard work. Pun intended? I simply don't know.

Oh and I am crazy... All the best people are as the saying goes.

My house looks very similar to the 'ugly' house Sad

FairyDustDreamer · 19/02/2016 17:24

My pebbledash, terrace is very ugly....
Hey ho Grin.

Brightnorthernlights · 19/02/2016 17:24

I'm beginning to really like the couple you despise.....

Brightnorthernlights · 19/02/2016 17:24

That is all.

CaptainCrunch · 19/02/2016 17:26

What an insufferable snob you sound op

Costacoffeeplease · 19/02/2016 17:26

Why do you need something to be 'wrong' for these people, to make you feel better about your life op? It's a most unattractive quality

FairyDustDreamer · 19/02/2016 17:27

There is an estate near our ugly house with houses like one pictured. Spacious, garages, quiet roads, good size gardens- I want one!!

Costacoffeeplease · 19/02/2016 17:30

There's a house in our road we call the booby house - now there's an ugly house - it would go well with the penis one!

witsender · 19/02/2016 17:31

I don't think it is attractive at all. But not everyone cares about that. They want potential, flexibility and ease. Presumably they bought it because they like it, whatever you think I don't get why someone you dislike getting what they want would be a source of glee for you?

PaulAnkaTheDog · 19/02/2016 17:33

Sorry for lowering the tone people.

PitilessYank · 19/02/2016 17:35

Let's see :

Cockatoo
Painting of Tolstoy's wife
Cushions
Cash
Bean bag chairs
Four turtles
+/- pussycat or whatever that is a euphemism for...

We are all set to go!

Oh, yes, I also have a metric fuckton of chopsticks, and some really terrific shampoo, which I don't mind sharing.

PitilessYank · 19/02/2016 17:36

Oh, yes, and I have two kayaks!! Fairly new!

PitilessYank · 19/02/2016 17:37

Might be a pain to take them on the plane, though.

I guess I will kayak from the US to England. Yes, that will work.

ghostyslovesheep · 19/02/2016 17:37

my house dates from the 1970's (like me)

It may be ugly to look at (it's not it's double fronted and has lovely hanging baskets and a drive for 3 cars) but by god it's lovely inside - I rebuilt lots of it last summer - it has a huge garden, 4 bedrooms, massive dining kitchen study and conservatory and (maybe because it was ugly) it was a frigging STEAL !

It's also lovely and warm and fuel efficient - I bloody love it Grin

I grew up in a Victorian terrace and lived in a big cold Georgian house - both very pretty but this is all I could afford and it's a lovely home

PaulAnkaTheDog · 19/02/2016 17:38

I am indeed Pike. I've learned my lesson. I will retire to the living room in my gorgeous house and think about what I've done. Sad

BitOutOfPractice · 19/02/2016 17:41

Maybe they don't think it's ugly op - as many people on this thread don't think it's ugly.

I also suspect they don't give a tiny rat's ass what you think of their house.
