To think that Victoria Beckham looks plain daft?

She's in New York to launch her latest collection and has been papped strutting out of hotels in some dreadful outfits. All can be viewed in the Daily Mail but for those of you who don't like to click I will post a few and you can tell me if I'm BU.

I don't really have any opinion on her but I like the outfits except the sleeves on the navy jumper and the boots
I wish I could carry off the look

I like the grey jumper and the tweed coat. The yellow jumper is quite fun although a bit blocky for my taste. My favourite is the pleated skirt that she's wearing with the yellow jumper - the movement and 'ripple' when she walks must look stunning. Pleated skirts done well look amazing.

I think she looks good. The culottes make a nice change from skinny jeans.

I actually like the yellow top and the skirt combo.

I love food, so just can't imagine being happy having to restrict food to the extent she must in order to be the size she is.

She has proved herself to be very driven, and I admire lots about her. She has totally reinvented her career , she doesn't just rely on her money and fame for her self worth. I think if I were her I would lie by a pool reading all day!

I like them. Cosy, baggy and kind of French. What's not to like.

I like her too but I don't know why she puts on her silly pouty face. It's obvious her image is important to her but why does she insist on projecting such a daft narcissistic one when the real her is so much nicer.

Considering the outfits individually are probably not that great, she still looks stylish as hell.

She looks good. Not keen on the navy ensemble but like the rest.
I can see why she's successful, she has real passion for fashion.

I like those outfits. Far better than the hideous WAG stuff sher used to wear. I wish I could wear chunky knits and oversized jumpers but I'd just look like a Cornish fisherman with the build to match .

I like her style and she has done very well for herself in the fashion world and I believe she is thought well of. They seem a nice family all in all.

As for her face, she did say years ago that she hates her smile and that is why she doesn't smile for the cameras.

Worra - she also might do a lot of exercise - it's very easy to be thin if you do a lot of exercise, and she'd have the DH who would be putting in the hours in the gym/training to normalise exercising to a level most of us would think was bizare.

Apart from the odd cigarette shaped lighter navy trousers I don't think the rest looks stupid at all.

VB has had an eating disorder so it's not a stretch to think she doesn't eat much to keep as tiny as she is.

I don't think she's pouting, I think she looks like she's scowling - head down, trying to get away from the photographers as quickly as possible - none of the photos are taken in a posed situation, all are of her being bothered on the street /airport while she's trying to go somewhere.

I think she looks lovely - I really like the orange pants and grey coat - stop being such a cow op!

I am continually baffled at the regular threads on MN slating this woman.

As far as I can see (and I'n not a celeb magazine/tabloid reader so I may have missed something) she seems to work hard, has a successful business, has a nice family and a good relationship with her husband.

Her 'crimes' seem to being thin and not smiling much. Take a trip over to the feminist board, she is entitled to bodily atomomy and can be as slim and non smiley as she likes.

We get sooo infuriated by men in the street telling us to "smile" can you imagine the whole world doing it?

I am a pretty smiley person but I don't walk down the street manically grinning. Plenty of men don't grin for the paparazzi either and we don't criticise them.

I like the clothes her business sells, I think they are lovely.

I don't think she looks in any way daft.

And if I did I wouldn't be so mean as to start a thread about it.

I don't really care what she wears, but assembling the paps followed by the 'hold back the crowds so that VB can stomp to her car' thing is utterly ridiculous.

That kind of PR behaviour grates on me.

She looks dreary.

Picking up on the comments on her figure- no most women couldn't maintain that figure but most men couldn't maintain David Beckham's figure either.

Funnily enough I can't recall a MN thread criticising DB (or any six packed celeb male) for being a bad role model.
