My son is fast and lazy. He is 14 years old and completely obnoxious. I love my son, but I hate the fact the only moviation he had is to resist. he does nothing up eat and lie on the sofa. I hope that such a camp will help address why he eats constantly. Maybe it will make him more moviated to make something of his life.

I am thinking of sending to the camp in the above link. It's very different yo the American fat camps. Even if he puts the weight back on, I think that a residential camp would do him the world of good.

I think it is a good option to consider out of a range of suggestions that others have posted here. 5 weeks away at his age might be exactly the right thing to do. Give you all a break and make him appreciate you all a bit more.

However, you won't get him there, or anywhere unless you do it with him on board. He is a stroppy teen but does he have better moments? Times when he is reasonable? Could you discuss the options? Get him to talk to the camp?

some children not necessarily respond to intense exercise specially when they are not used to. I would suggest Pilates for children is not impact exercise will help him with his joints, knees, posture, and will be fun without being in a competition with other kids.
