Think I'm getting a bit of a crush

I remember when he first appeared on Top of the Pops when I was a teenager. We were all discussing it the next day at school as we genuinely didn't know if it was a man or a woman. How naive were we in those days!!

I love BG, not watching The Voice as I can't stand the show.

He's interesting, has a brilliant cutting sense of humour and i like him a lot.

His brief criminal history is just that, brief and he's done his time. To those who insist on bringing it up; it says more about you than him.

BG is looking great and coming across really well on The Voice. How he reacted to the guy singing his song last night was beautiful.

I was a teen in the 80s and liked him then. He clearly had a bit of a fucked up period, but I think he's acquitted himself well now.

Fwiw though, I don't think that anyone saying that they find him unattractive or even repulsive means that they are homophobic: they just don't like BG. That is allowed!

Bloody hell. He's done his time. He was a drug addict at the time, but fuck that, link to the story from years ago just to remind people he was a bastard. People are allowed a second chance. I would hate to make a mistake if I was one of your friends. I think he is fab. He is funny, warm and charming and has been to prison, beat a drug addiction and moved on with his life.

I did a thread about two years-ish when he was on BBC news after his new album came out , he looked fantastic!, I was surprised to see he was 52 or somewhere around that.

BG and Culture Club introduced me to a lot of things - apart from the music I taught myself everything I could about applying make up based on him and as I grew from a naive teenager in the 80s to the person I am now in my 40s I learned a valuable lesson of being yourself.

Hes always been a very charming and interesting man whos never shied away from facing his demons eventually. And yes this includes his drug addiction and his conviction for imprisoning the victim of his crime. Which he paid for and has dealt with the public humiliation that came along with it. Thats kind of the premise of crime and punishment - paying for your crime, learning from it, and ultimately moving on, otherwise whats the point. He hasnt done it again and regrets his behavior. Why should this be any different from anyone non- celebrity who has paid for their crime and has never re-offended? Or has he to be vilified forever?

He cut out all of the crap from his diet and is a vegan, Amelia Freer helped him change his way of eating, he looks great on it.

He's no stranger to contouring is he? He looks good though. I haven't seen a picture of him for years and for whatever reason, he's looking a lot better than he did

I had Duran Duran over my bed it as all about John Taylor. But these days it's Simon Le Bon who has really got it. He's gorgeous now.

I think lots of people were hoping BG would be rubbish on The Voice and are a bit fed up he isn't because they can't bash him for that and everything else.

I too connect BG with the eighties, growing up,dancing at Pagoda Park, Bobby Browns etc. Bham was the place to be.Think he is coming across really well on The Voice.

I dressed up as him for my pals 40th a few years ago, took great pride in making my hat and dreadlocked wig, adorned with ribbons!

I absolutely love his voice, he is an amazing singer , beautiful tone.
