The trouble is, if it's the poster some people suspect, it's inevitable that she will be back under yet another identity. She seems wholly unable to stay away.

Dawndonnaagain · 07/02/2016 15:17

I'll be about most of the day and evening.
Will someone pm me to say who they think this is because I haven't a clue!
Thank you!

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/02/2016 15:17

There IS a positive side to this sort of thing appearing on your FB.

It confirms the person who posted it is an idiot. Usually you suspected them of being an idiot but this confirms.

I don't think the previous usernames were ever banned. Just changed to stop everybody going "you again? "

Well done to MNHQ if they have made a banning though. I always thought the posts stayed just the right side of talk guidelines in order to play the woe is me card when challenged.

If she is still reading: I saw my scan before terminating (of course it wasn't 4D, it was an unwanted pregnancy - why the fuck would I pay for a scan when I didn't with a wanted pregnancy?!) and I witnessed the full surgical procedure. I've never lied to myself about what I was doing to prevent guilt, there is no guilt, and I have no "excuses" and can't be arsed giving my reasons as all that is relevant is I didn't want to be pregnant.

'I've never lied to myself about what I was doing to prevent guilt, there is no guilt, and I have no "excuses" and can't be arsed giving my reasons as all that is relevant is I didn't want to be pregnant'. Well said, OddSocks. My situation was almost exactly the same. I'm sick of the mindset that we can only speak out about our experience if we're deemed to be adequately ashamed, guilty, and self loathing.

Can I also say, that this thread has been for the most part reasoned and supportive, and for that I'm grateful. I think it's important that we can discuss abortion and share our stories openly. To not discuss the issue or act like it's something about which we ought to be ashamed, only further stigmatises the issue and perpetuates the notion that it's wrong and shameful.

Also, Need, in response to your 11.29 post, honestly, you have nothing to apologise for. Please don't feel bad. You haven't upset anyone. One specific poster probably has, but that is not your fault. They would leap on any thread with the merest mention of abortion and post the same shite.
