Not believing a 12 week old unborn baby resembles a baby is also being deluded

Believing that a 12 week old foetus resembles that model in the picture at the beginning of this thread is deluded.

But if the had had the baby adopted as the couple did in teen mom. They could of enjoyed watching the baby grow up from afar instead.

Why are you selective in your reading, Uare? You've been told that the system in the UK is not the same as the one in the US. No natural mother gets to watch the baby grow up from afar, she isn't told who has adopted the child or where s/he is living.

And I'm sorry, I know it's not on topic, pedantic and all the rest of it, but it's getting to me: it's "could have" not "could of".

GruntledOne · 07/02/2016 09:41

Lack of education does truly show.

Oh, the irony.

5madthings · 07/02/2016 10:22

It's not gender either, it's sex though why any of us are engaging with someone so incapable of reasoned debate I have no idea.

My 13 has been studying abortion at school and even he who is immature in many ways due to his asc and just because he is s teenage boy has been able to grasp and understand the nuances around the abortion debate far more than uare it seems.

Wittering on about how a fetus may resemble a baby doesn't change the fact that it is still a fetus, is your sole argument that women shouldn't about because it looks like a baby at a certain stage? So abortion is Ok before then? Oh no I forgot you said it's Ok for rape as well... So not only do you talk site but your arguments are illogical as well. You either think it's a 'baby' that must be saved or not... But no you give arbitrary moral worth depending on how the fetus was conceived.

And again uare not once have you answered a poster as to how you could possibly police a system where abortion was allowed in cases of rape but not others. Would a woman have to report it to the police? What if once the abortion is carried out the police decide there isn't enough evidence, it doesn't go to court? Would it still count an as 'ok' abortion under your criteria? It's just as ludicrous as you stating that women are all deluded and don't know what a fetus looks like.

I don't actually know why I am.botherin though, given your replies following some of the posts on this thread where amazing women have shared their experiences and at times their obvious pain you still spout shit about how they took the 'easy' (in your opinion) way out and they should have just given the baby up for adoption... As if it's thst fucking easy. My husband works in child protection and care system.btw so hint, it's not thst easy at all. God even using mtv as a fucking poster model, are you having a laugh, Tyler and Catelyn gave their baby up and yes have sporadic contact but you can't tell me it's a healthy dynamic, they both have issues and Tyler struggles hugely with boundaries it's fucking car crash TV essentially exploiting young vulnerable people and it's bloody obvious the couple who adopted their baby want nothing to do with the TV show.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 10:29

Reporting the outright trolling on this thread.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 10:30

I know christina, it just mysifies me how someone who clearly hates/has no respect for othet women can be a member of a site set up to support (predominantly) errrr women
A VERY recent member.

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/02/2016 10:30

I already have Gideon.

Three times.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 10:36

Sleeping at MNHQ I think. I've reported twice.

Error404UserNotFound · 07/02/2016 10:40

A VERY recent member.

Or a name changer. Uare's views and pattern of 'speech' remind me of another poster who often pops up on religious threads to say deliberately controversial and goady things with the justification that "it's a radical idea".

Dawndonnaagain · 07/02/2016 10:50

Come on

A baby is not a parasite.

But we're discussing a foetus, which is technically a parasite. Apart from which what right have you to tell somebody how they did or didn't feel, or how they should or should not feel. You were not there, you were not (and are not) being supportive. Your opinion in this instance is rude and unkind.

That's just someone being deluded and something they tell themselves to make it easier to live with
No, this is you dealing with your delusion. Again, you do not have the right to dictate the needs or emotions of others.

Not believing a 12 week old unborn baby resembles a baby is also being deluded
Again, the delusion is yours.

People are deluded, it's human nature. They obviously have to lie to themselves to deal with the pain

See above.

But if the had had the baby adopted as the couple did in teen mom. They could of enjoyed watching the baby grow up from afar instead.
Teen Mom? Are you ten?

Open adoption exists... but yet another poster just couldn't be bothered to give their baby a chance at life Fuck off to the far side and then some, you rude, intolerant nasty piece of plankton. There. I have finally lost my temper, you really pushed it though didn't you. How dare you state that those who have abortions can't be bothered to give a bunch of cells, YES, A BUNCH OF CELLS a chance. How dare you sit in judgement of women you know nothing about.

And finally:
A lack of education truly does show
Where to start? Your grasp of science, your sentence construction, your grammar? Your lack of vocabulary? Your inability to construct a coherent argument? Your use of logical fallacies?

I rest my case.

BertieBotts · 07/02/2016 11:09

This is an interesting and quite shocking article written by a woman who grew up in a fundamentalist Christian family in the US about all of the lies they are told about abortion.

It's hard to argue with pro-lifers because they literally believe all of this stuff.

www.patheos.com/blogs/permissiontolive/2014/01/life-and-choice-why-abortion-isnt-what-i-thought-it-was.html

BertieBotts · 07/02/2016 11:16

Annoyingly that isn't quite the article I was thinking of as the original one I read had a lot more misinformation reported.

KacieB · 07/02/2016 11:24

I've reported too. Guess they can't sort people saying stupid or hateful things?

sugar21 · 07/02/2016 11:26

I reported on Friday and yesterday but nothing happened

NeedACleverNN · 07/02/2016 11:29

I almost wish I hadn't started this....

Whilst is been lovely to see many women support the right of another woman's body, it is sad how far pro lifers are prepared to go.

I am sorry for any upset I may have caused by starting this and fully support mnhq if they decide they wish to delete.

Anyone who has felt personally victimised on here my apologies go to you too.

Dixie I rather think that claiming that people who have abortions because they're too lazy to bring up the child resulting from a pregnancy is out and out discrimination.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 11:43

I don't think they can delete people for voicing their opinions, even if they are stupid.
But they can and do delete trolls.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 11:46

Could I ask that people don't dignify anti-abortionists/anti-choicers/forced-birthers by calling them 'pro-life'? IMO this plays right into their hands and shows an acceptance of their rhetoric. 'Pro-life' is their chosen term because implicit in it is a suggestion that anyone who supports free choice is somehow anti life. Let's call a spade a spade, eh?

KacieB · 07/02/2016 11:50

Oh god need, not your fault!

And I know they delete trolls but that needs evidence of maliciousness or name changing nonsense etc. Just voicing horrible and despicable views won't get you kicked off!
